It is pretty amazing, it is plastic, you remove the lid from the black edges and you put the batteries from under. It opens by moving your hand on top and it closes alone. If you want you can use the buttons. You also can keep it open by waiving to open and press the up button to keep it open and the green light will stop flickering. You can also clean it easily and it doesnt get affected by water. I put it next to the shower and nothing happens.

I bought this and from the start its lid didn't open properly (opened half way), i thought i could fix it but got too busy with life that i didn't try. It just got worse and worse and now its lid doesn't even try to open, I tried different batteries, still no luck. Now its been so long that I can't even return it. Don't make the same mistake I did, Don't hope, just return it if yours was faulty too Not gonna rate 1 star cause my friend got it and it works fine But i expect sellers to test before selling
