Great price... formula comperable to expensive other Hip doggie supplements
My three dogs won't eat these tablets... not the plain tablet. As others have written... just smashing them into very small pieces/powder, and mixing it with their wet food dinner, they don't even know they're getting it. And eat it all. Still use the flavored, Cosequin in the morning... but as stated,I really like this formula and it's not a wallet breaker like Cosequin, using this at night, allows me to need less of the $79.00 per bag Cosequin, per month, and not what I now need to buy... BIG SAVINGS Although the have no nice doggie flavor, since the formula is very good... I may find a way to give the crushed Amazon tablet in the morning also.. maybe with a spoonful of wet food... if it works out... I'll stop using the Cosequin and save a small fortune.. Three dogs at twice a day, that's a lot of Cosequin money.. I love my gang but if there's a way to supply a good product, and save a bunch... the little but of extra work is worth it since it frees up some dollars, to spend on them for treats.... yee haw....

Seems to be helping
Our dog was born with hip dysplasia. Heโs 12 now and slowing down. Iโve had him on the vet prescribed Dasuquin his whole life until starting this. Weโre on our 2nd bottle. He lifts his leg to pee where he wasnโt before.

Danger, toxic in quantity, cap not dog proof
My dogs take numerous prescribed medications which have to be covered with cheese to mask their bitterness. These supplements are the opposite. My dogs knew they tasted like duck, and knocked the bottle off the counter, then easily chewed the cap off and had a pill party. $800 later at the emergency vet, speaking to the ASPCA poison control line (another $95), my dogs were given an emetic, but it may have been too late to prevent liver damage. Blood tests at 24 and 48 hours will tell. These need to be kept out of reach, in a cabinet or high shelf, and the manufacturer ought to put a sturdier cap on the bottle. Don't assume that supplements made from naturally sourced ingredients are edible treats.

Good product
This product added some additional bounce to my older dog. I like it better than the higher priced big name brand

Worked but new formula too hard
I have a mini schnauzer who took this vitamin for 2 full bottles worth (idk about a year) in his food with no problem. It helped him be able to jump and walk he couldn't for a long time due to conditions prior to rescue. This past delivery, the vitamin is rock hard. Used to not be difficult to split by hand, now I can hardly do it. He is also spitting it out and will not take it any more. Not sure what happened what they did to the latest bottle but he will not take it even in a pill pocket. Too bad because it did help when he could eat it.

Does what it says it will, keeps my pups joints healthy
I've been using this specifically for one of my rescue dogs who seemed to have problems with a kneecap. We started it a couple of years ago and I've been using it faithfully. Shortly after we started using it he quit hobbling and favoring the leg that was bothering him. It has never come back. As long as I give him his dose everyday he never again has had problems with his patella. I also use it for my other stray dog who was a rescue and is getting on in years. He runs around like he's a little puppy. I think this is excellent quality product and it does what it says it's going to do, helps the joints for my pups. Great value, works like it promises, keeps my dogs healthy and running around. I just drop one in their food and they eat it without any problem problem. I plan to keep using it until the very end because it seems to make a big difference in both of their health and mobility.

My dog does not like the taste of these. Bottle says Duck flavored
I can't say if they work or not because I can't get my dog to eat one. Even wrapped in a piece of lunch meat, my dog will somehow eat the lunch meat and spit out the tablet. When mixed into a meal of rice,, turkey and gravy, she will eat the entire meal and the tablets that were mixed in, remain on the plate.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
My li'l Boston Terrier, age 13+, reached a point where she could no longer jump up onto the couch (which we have always encouraged her to do.) I started her on a double dose for 4 weeks, then lowered the dose to once daily. Now she can easily jump up onto the couch, and she seems to be more comfortable overall. I recommended this product to a neighbor whose dog has the same probblems.
