Not seeing chicken or grains....ingredients are: glucosamine (shrimp and crab), methylsulfonylmethane, green-lipped muscle, chondroitin sulfate(porcine), manganese, brewery’s yeast, duck flavor, silicon dioxide, stearic acid

The pills I received were lighter in color and powdery (actually a lot of power in the bottle), is that normal?

Yes. It's normal for some powder to be in the bottle. Is caused from the pills rubbing together during packaging and shipping. Just sprinkle it over their food with the last pill. If you can relate, you can call the powder "the shake"!
