These are not meant to burn on a flat surface. The burn time will be greatly reduced if placed in a bubble holder or on a flat surface. STRONG smell!
You don't even need to light these candles to fragrance a small room, which might not have been so bad if they actually smelled like lavender. Although they're floral, to me it wasn't lavender. I returned them and even when I walked into the UPS Store, they commented on how strong they smelled (while still in the box!). I would not recommend these unless you have a large space and like the fragrance.
