For $16.00 I'm satisfied! However they are SOAK-OFF meaning you soak your hands long enough doing quite literally anything, dishes, a shower, washing your hands too many times etc they WILL come off. Now if you're getting them for the sole purpose of fast, easy, quick by all means these are your nails, but just remember they will soak off doing the day to day necessities.

I was tired of spending $50+ every two weeks to get my nails done. I decided to try polygel nails and save some money. This was the first time I have ever attempted to do them myself. I did figure out some things along the way that definitely make the process easier:- After applying the base coats, work on one nail at a time. If you try to do polygel on your whole hand and then cure, it just won’t work. Doesn’t matter if you have nail clips. Going one nail at a time isn’t really that bad.- Don’t forget to spread the gel on the underside unless you have an electric nail file to fix the clump. Don’t forget to cure the underside of the nail too!- Put the polygel on the plastic nail piece, not your actual nail. Try spreading it out to your desired shape/length and then press it on.In terms of stickiness, I don’t think the polygel is that bad. Dip your brush in the provided solution and you should have an easy enough time spreading the gel. I plan on trying again in a couple of weeks once I have some growth. I’ve had them on for one week so far and no issues at all! None of them have popped off, cracked, etc. I’ve also gotten a lot of compliments on the glitter gold.

I absolutely love my nails. I only had 3 issues, one was that I sat on my carpet and did them so I kept getting fuzz on my nails (so make sure you're at a table), 2 was the UV light. I had to pry the legs out for it to stand, they were really stuck and ended up having to use a knife, and 3 is that this kit didn't come with nail clips. Thank God I bought them or this wouldn't have worked out at all. For my first time, it took me almost 2 hours bc I messed up a few times and had to remove some bc of the fuzz (obv my fault). If you're gonna buy this, spend the extra 4$ and get nail clips. Next time this will probably only take me an hour to do, which is just a bit longer than when I'd pay to get my nails done. The colors are just what I expected too. And make sure you have a paper towel to wipe your brush onto. Definitely will buy this again when I run out

I made my first attempt at polygel with the color I liked least (more of a purply color than a champagne…) and I am impressed with the product! I thought that there was no way it would work as easily as in the little ad videos, but it’s legit!It did take me a very long time to do both hands, as I am brand new at this kind of nail. I coated (2 coats of the gel), cured, and shaped each nail one by one so it took a lot longer. I also messed up once or twice and had to try those nails again. I’m going to try next time with nail tips and some clips for the curing process to keep things even tidier. I think with some practice, this will be my new go-to for nails! Super cute and seemingly durable!UPDATE: with more practice and the addition of gel nailpolish before and after the polygel, a set lasts me about 2 weeks. A set does take me about 3-4 hours to do on myself 😮‍💨. Tips and clips did not help me even a little lol. I upgraded to a nicer nail lamp just for fun. The one from this set works perfectly well

My 1st review was 2 stars because I didn’t realize I needed a USB charger/plug for the lamp to work & I didn’t have one. I acquired one & my 2 star rating stays. The product “works”, BUT I feel I wasted my money. I prepped my nails, did the light, put the gel on the nail form, put it on my nail, cured front & back with the lamp & I had a nail. However, it was difficult to get the correct amount of gel; too much & you have access on cuticles even after cleaning off excess prior to curing or you have build up “under your false nail” or you don’t have enough gel. It’s a great concept & it works, & it isn’t rocket science, but I tried several times and never got a good result. I say save your $20 for a few weeks and go to a nail salon.

I am a true beginner at this, I NEVER do my nails but have little time/ money for salon visits so I thought for the price, I’d give it a try. There is a learning curve but after a few nails, I got the hang of it and felt comfortable by the end. And honestly was so proud of my results! This did take me two hours for the first time but hope that it will be cut down the next time now that I’ve got the hang of it. The set comes with most of what you need to start but, I did wish I had gotten a nail grinder for the undersides instead of having to work at filing it down. However, I was able to cut the nail easy enough with a pair of large nail clippers. Finally, the only other item, i did purchase in addition was the nail clips to hold the nail on and it was helpful, especially if doing more than 1 at a time. Order this product, you won’t be dissatisfied!
