Great product. Easily flexed. You can cut the tube to size or join the two for a longer run. PVC Inserts provided are helpful if you need to connect to another pipe. Most of the time they will not be needed and can be easily removed. You will not find any flex pipe for a 2” pipe in a home improvement store -I tried. The pipe has a rubber type coat which gives durability and flex.

These are made very well, and made connection of my new central vacuum much easier. The only downside is that these are very stiff, and a little difficult to make a 90 degree angle. Overall, I’m very happy with the product.

I needed this to install my replacement central vacuum unit, since the connections weren't lining up. I was SURE to slide out the 2 PVC connectors that were inside each flex hose so nothing was inside the hoses. It was nearly impossible to bend - it took 2 of us to bend it, and I was afraid it would snap. We had no issues with the clamps, but the jury is still out as far as these flex hoses not damaging the existing PVC pipe, since the hose wants to move the pipe, thats how stiff it is. We finally got them situated and the vac is working.

Make sure to purchase if you are replacing your current central vac system. The fittings are different for every brand, so this will ensure you get your system up and running. They were extremely ease to install!

So why not just include it with the vacuum??? Searched every store in town and NOTHING else is the right size. Trued to order through Ovo but they charge a huge amount for shipping, so got through Amazon...still outrageous price for what it is, but no other way to get the vacuum connected.

Our replacement Central Vacuum has it port in different locations and the flexible hose allowed me to route the new connections just using the old pipes and connectors instead of having to buy new ones. The additional benefit is that the flex pipe does not transfer vibrations, so we noticed a reduction in our system sound. Do yourself a favor and get this for your install.
