GIBS Con Man Hair & Beard Pudding - Leave In Conditioner - Curl Definer - Moisturizer

So I’m accustomed to using cremo beard thickening cream but decided to try this based on the reviews. This product is definitely a different direction but not in a bad way. The cremo has more hold for a crazy beard. The cremo also tends to make your beard feel stiff and not sure it does much for the health of your beard. I always blow-dry my beard after a shower to straighten it out some. It looks insane and unkept if I don’t. I’ve applied this con man pudding per instructions before blow drying in my wet beard. It leaves my beard feeling so soft afterwards and fairly kept. It doesn’t leave the stiff texture as cremo does. This con man makes my beard feel healthy and smells good(like a classic manly cologne smell). You really don’t need much to get the job done. I have been dipping the end of my index finger in the pudding and that’s usually too much. I find myself rubbing it all in my beard and my hair to get it off my hands. It’s very slick going in but doesn’t leave a residue and is like lotion that absorbs really well. I’ve also found that my beard doesn’t get matted or messed up as easily by a face mask or sleeping. The mask still leaves a mark but nothing like with the cremo. I also don’t find myself as annoyed or aware when my beard is rubbing on the chest of my shirt or the collar. My beard just feels so slick and soft with no oiliness whatsoever. Which means it won’t leave oily spots on your sunglasses if you clip them on your shirt. My beard is fairly long. It’s about 4.5 months from a trim on the length. I would say it’s 4+ inches past my chin and 6 inches in its longest parts on the sides for reference. I’m enjoying this product so far and will keep using it as my go to beard conditioner. Would definitely recommend.

Love this! Great smell and does soften the beard

Over the past few years I've stopped using all other hair styling products. I now use only this glorious pudding. I just received my 5th 19oz tub It smells amazing. I look forward to smearing this goop in my hair every morning. You'll be surprised by how many compliments you get on the smell too, though I wouldn't call it overpowering or too strong. Women will start burying their nose in your hair and try and snort you like a line of coke. I have thick hair, and it's the right amount of hold for me. Think of it like gel, but better. After it dries it's a little stiff. Then run your fingers or brush through your hair and all of that stiffness goes away. Nothing but soft hair left exactly where you want it. No residue, no flakeyness. Just glory The couple bad things... Of the 5 things I've used, two of them arrived just jacked up. Nothing but a box of goo. Amazon always sent a new one, so not that big of a deal to me. 3 of the 4 I've gone through the pump has broken halfway through the tub. Not that big of a deal, just open the lid and scoop a fingerfull. Another draw back of the pump, every few days a hard little crusty florescent yellowgreen booger develops. That little florescent booger will end up someplace in your hair. When a woman goes to snort your hair, they'll ask why you have a booger in your hair. Just tell em it was from the last snorter. All told, this stuffs great. Eventually I'll get around to trying the other Gibbs products

I think it smells good and it’s a good product, but it does contain a lot of chemicals that popped up as unhealthy on my app. Now you’ll have to do your own research for this, but I bought this for my husband for his hair and beard and we were looking for something. That’s not quite hair pomade or gel, but something that can hold this hair nicely. It smells good, and the thickness is OK and moisture level is good as well. He said the weight was OK. It’s not too heavy and it’s not too late, but at the end of the day, it didn’t really hold his hair, which is something that he was looking for. But the general overall review is correct. It is nicely scented, and it does make the hair look shiny and conditions it. But if you’re looking to buy something to hold your hair and style it, I’m not sure if this is the one for you.

Think I’ve finally found a leave in conditioner that does what it says. Leaves hair manageable without a bunch of extra stuff left in your hair. Manageable, soft and lightweight.

My favorite product to use on my beard! Makes it feel nice and soft. Not too greasy and I even put a little in my hair and it works great! I definitely recommend!

This stuff is amazing. It has softened my beards tremendously. I also use it in my hair, and to moisturize my face. I get dry patches on my face and scalp, and have tried dozens of products to remedy this problem. When I first tried this, I didn’t have high hopes, but it has worked great, and replaced my need for special shampoo and face creams as well as hair styling products. It’s worth its weight in gold.

The GIBS Con Man Hair & Beard Pudding is just okay. It does add some moisture and gives a bit of curl definition, but nothing impressive. The scent is decent, not too strong, and the texture is easy to work through hair or beard. The downside is that it doesn’t seem to last very long, and the hold is pretty minimal. For the price, I expected a little more performance. Overall, it’s not bad, just average — it works, but there are better options out there.
