Super
Used it for 4 years with no hiccups. Performed at par if not surpassing larger name brands. Unfortunately lost it somewhere at work but getting another one

Very Useful
My laptop doesn't have Type-C ports, and I often need one to connect my external drive. I was looking for something durable and within my budget. I came across this and ordered it. I have to say, I love the color and how lightweight it is. The 3.0 ports are very handy for charging my phone or transferring data.

Sturdy and works great
I've had one of these on my work laptop for several years now, and no issues. I foolishly bought a different brand for my personal laptop, and like most it began to malfunction within a few months. So I wised up and got another one of the Mokin dongles. So far, so good.

Reliable USB/HDMI Utility, but Ethernet NIC Fails Silently Over Time
I am a computer science engineer and purchased this Mokin multiport hub in July 2023. It has been used intermittently as part of a professional workstation setup, including a few months of complete inactivity. While the USB expansion ports and HDMI display routing operate adequately, the integrated Realtek USB Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) network interface card (NIC) possesses a hardware vulnerability that renders it unreliable for high-availability networking. The Failure Mode: Silent Intermittent Packet Drops After accumulating several months of operational wear, the network interface now drops all Layer 3 routing data entirely without warning. The Diagnostic Catch: When the failure occurs, the physical network port LEDs continue to flash and Windows still reports the link state as "Enabled" with an active DHCP lease. However, all data flow ceases instantly. The Root Cause: This is a classic case of hardware-level MAC/PHY decoupling. The physical layer transceiver (PHY) remains powered by the USB bus, maintaining a false link state with the central network switch, while the internal MAC/USB bridge logic completely freezes. Zero OS Log Footprint: Because the root xHCI controller chip does not report a hardware removal event, the Windows Event Viewer captures absolutely no system log errors. The network status transitions silently to "No network access," and a continuous loopback ping drops instantly from standard latencies to total timeouts. Thermal Considerations If you intend to use this hub for USB Power Delivery (PD) pass-through charging alongside an active HDMI display feed, the internal buck-boost circuitry generates severe thermal saturation. This heat directly cooks the adjacent network microchip, likely accelerating the component lockups observed after long-term ownership. Verdict: For under $36 USD, this device has delivered acceptable value over its lifespan as a display and USB expansion block. However, if you require stable, hardwired network routing for remote work, terminal sessions, or large file transfers, completely avoid using the integrated NIC on this hub. Use your machine's internal, PCIe-routed Ethernet port instead.

Great value.
Runs as expected, great price for what you are getting. Wasn't enough USB ports in the long term for me, but great portable adapter to keep in a backpack.

Best adapter for my MacBook Air M2
Fantastic adapter that meets my needs for my new MacBook Air M2. This has the USB C in that I needed, and enough USB A ports, HDMI, and even a camera chip card for any multitasker. Love it!
