Best Budget Replacement Key
I recently bought this set of two replacement key fob shells for my 2013 Ford F150, and I’m really pleased with the purchase. Here’s my experience with them: Fit and Finish: The key fob shells fit perfectly with the internal components from my old key fobs. The buttons align just right, and the overall build quality feels solid. The plastic is durable and doesn’t feel cheap at all. Plus, the buttons have a nice, tactile feel when pressed. Installation: Swapping out the old shells for these new ones was a breeze. It took me about 10 minutes to do both key fobs. The hardest part was prying open the old shells, but once that was done, everything else was straightforward. The new shells snapped together securely, and everything fit snugly. Functionality: All the buttons work flawlessly, just like the original ones. The remote start, lock, unlock, and panic buttons all respond quickly and reliably. It’s great to have my key fobs looking and working like new again without having to pay a fortune at the dealership. Value for Money: Considering the price, this set of two key fob shells is a fantastic deal. It’s much cheaper than getting replacements from the dealership, and the quality is just as good. I feel like I got a lot of value for my money. Overall Impression: If you need to replace the key fob shells for your Ford or Lincoln, I highly recommend these. They’re easy to install, work perfectly, and are a great value. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely buy them again if needed.

2014 f150
I bought for my 2014 f-150 and it worked perfectly. Got the chip switched over, and new key cut, and it works like a champ.

quality is good BUT groves do not match factory key if you are looking to swap the hard plastic case of the key with other aftermarket keys. The lip inside is a different size and will not snap in securely. if you are completely replacing your key, then this is a good option

Easy programming and functioning, except for one thing... read my review
Why did this receive a 1-star deduction? Because today, after only a few uses, the remote stopped working to open my door. It turned out the lock button was stuck in the down position, no doubt wearing my battery down as well. It was just one side of the push button that looked too far pressed in so that it stuck under the plastic surround. This never happened on the OEM key fob, meaning they cut corners on the replacement but having thinner plastic surrounding the push buttons. After prying it loose, it worked again. But to have my wife tell me the key fob wasn't working and later being in the car and unlocking it only to find it locked itself, without my pressing any buttons, and embarrassingly set off my alarm while at school! I hope it doesn't happen again.

Fit perfectly for my truck.

Good price, quality is acceptable.
At this price point I think the quality is acceptable. I’m yet to figure if I can only replace the internal parts or if I need to pay somebody else to “program” it some how. So far so good. Easy to assemble but no logo on it

It's JUST A CASE
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Read CAREFULLY, this is just a case. There are NO electronics in it. It's also nearly impossible to remove the electronics from your existing key so you're left with.....a case. There are no instructions on getting the needed electrical stuff out. Taking the back cover off is easy. Separating the other half is ridiculously hard. I guess what do you want for $8, but it's basically useless.

Works great!
Works great. You have to put your old chip in it. Had the guy at my local Ace hardware cut it for $5. He said he wasn’t supposed to cut Amazon keys but did it anyway.

Perfect. No problem getting them cut accurately at the locksmith. The old key electronics fit easily and the whole thing clicked together without a fuss. So far buttons all work and key feels solid in the ignition. One thing to be aware of is that, unlike the factory fob, there is no frame separating the buttons so it's a little easier to mash the wrong button or accidentally pocket-press a button. But that's a very minor inconvenience considering the price.

Worked great saved me over $200 dollars from what the car company would have charged and it was easy to do.

See the little metal piece? Where does it go? There are no instructions and seemingly no place for this piece. I contacted the manufacturer from the page who told me they didn’t produce this. Getting very frustrated here.
