Original 7x7 base did not fit on boat
Original 7x7 base did not fit on boat. Redoing some carpet on my bass boat I removed seat base plate noticed only one screw out of 6 was secured to metal cross member, the rest nothing or to plastic tab on LiveWell tank, shocking. I am surprised I never fell off my seat due to base coming loose. Did some remeasuring and found the space between cross members was 4 1/2 inches apart. Luckly I found a 6x8 would meet my needs, now I have all 6 screws fastened to metal. I need to see if my other seat base is mounted that badly.
