Great mesh filter for Aeropress. Only thing I use now!
So far I've purchased the Corretto filter pack (mesh, fine, ultra-fine) and a Prismo but the only thing I'm using at the moment is the mesh filter by Corretto. To use the mesh filter you have to go inverted but that's fine with me. I grind my own beans and have found that I get very little extra in the cup with the mesh filter and all the flavor and oils that I want out of a full bodied cup. It's easy to clean and has held up pretty well. I ended up buying a 2nd one for my work aeropress because I preferred the flavor over Prismo.

Great for turning your Aero Press into a tincture press!
I picked up this mesh filter specifically for using when I press homemade herbal tinctures using my Aero Press. The paper filter's provided with the press may not be durable enough to handle the roughness of some of the herbs I press (particularly medicinal mushrooms and shredded roots), and the paper may also absorb some of the oils, this metal fine screen filter works perfectly. The density of the mesh also created the most thoroughly filtered tinctures I've ever produced, so I am very happy with this product! :0)

Way better than paper filters
Easy to use and a lot better than having to deal with paper filers.

The mesh one is great for pre-brewed loose tea, the extra fine is great for coffee, as planned.
My verdict on the inverted method, recommended by the filter makers, is now, freaking nuts, because it always leaks and the extended heat exposure rapidly ruins the rubber piston, so that it starts to leaks too; I'll probably have to replace the years old rubber piston end on my Aero-Press after just a month of this abuse! If you want to brew anything for more than 30 seconds, brew in an insulated mug, then pour the brew into the Aero-Press to pressure filter it; I'll be doing this for Tea from now on. I think the ultra-fine filter is the best for coffee, because the no-pressure flow rate is slower than paper filters, and plenty of time, yet the pressure flow rate is faster than than the paper filter; if you _really_ need longer, use my suggested method above. If you can't press hard enough to extract enough flavour, a 12 KG weight can do the trick.

Juryโs still out
Bit expensive for what it is, time will tell if it lasts a few yrs. seems robust enough
