While the helmet is good quality and beautiful, and the rear is fantastic, I deemed it as too bulky for my head

I have had this helmet for close to 8 months and it shows to be good quality. Lightweight but sturdy when it comes to protection (found that out after a fall from my bicycle). Great fit and easy to clean.

I loved this helmet when I took it out of the box. I loved it when I felt its light weight and looked at the wonderfully spaced vents. I loved it when I put it on my head and saw how good it looked.However, I stopped loving it about 30 seconds later when I started to feel the pressure on my temples. My head is on the bigger side: 57-59 cm, depending on how you measure - but still well within the supposed range for this helmet, and (I like to think) not super weirdly shaped. Indeed, there were plenty of "bigger" adjustable sizes relative to my head size, but the helmet itself (aka the styrofoam shell, not the interior adjustable straps) was digging uncomfortably into my temples to the point where I had a mild headache after a few minutes of wearing it.If this is what happens when I'm sitting at my desk, I can only imagine how uncomfortable the helmet would be 50 miles into a ride. Sadly, I will be returning this helmet, and instead using the Register recreational model in XL (since this road model doesn't come in XL) - even though my head size is perilously close (1-4 clicks) to the smallest setting on that size+model. Oh well.
