I have a small beagle/chihuahua mix dog who is 16 years old. She used to get lots of fleas from playing with some neighborhood cats who liked to jump the fence and be in our backyard. This treatment has been a lifesaver for her. She likes the flavor and now she is not scratching herself and going crazy because of fleas. Her wounds she had from scratching and flea bites are all gone too! We had tried so many other things to get rid the fleas but nothing worked like this! I would buy these again and again in a heartbeat.

It worked good there were millions of dead fleas coming off

I gave 4 stars because it was easy to administer to my dogs. They thought it was a treat. The bad side is that it takes a while to be effective. The fleas were falling off not hopping but they were still alive. I swept them up and tied them in a bag to toss out.

This oral treatment didn't help my goldendoodle very much, we gave it to her for several days but didn't notice that much reduction in fleas. I've noticed that no matter what you treatment you consider, there is a review telling you it either doesn't work, make sure dog sick, etc etc while other reviews say it works great. It gets to the point you want to give up, no matter what you do there's somebody telling you you're risking your dog's health with every single product on Amazon. I get sick of reading the reviews. I find a product that has 10 good reviews in a row and then I find the inevitable person saying this for that product nearly killed my dog. Even the natural ones. You can't win no matter what you do or buy or don't buy. Buy nothing and people scream you're letting your dog suffer. Buy them something and someone's telling you you're hurting your dog or risking their life. From what I can tell, no one makes an effective product that actually works and everyone agrees is safe. I don't think such a product exists on Amazon to be honest.

I wanted this to work so bad because my dog is highly allergic to fleas and shreds himself up even when he has the topical flea prevention. Even if a dog around him has fleas he breaks out (our neighbor dog has fleas so my poor pup get around them). I saw this and wanted to try to give him some relief to my itchy pooch. The first day, I saw 3 fleas on my dog and purposefully left them on there to see if it worked. I came back in an hour and they were still there. I figured since it says up to 4 hrs I would wait. Later in the day I checked him, fleas still there. So I thought may it took some time for his body to get accustomed to it. The next day same story, he went outside in the morning I checked him saw he has some fleas, gave him a pill checked him about an hour and a half later, fleas are still having a party. Let it set for the rest of the afternoon and checked him before dinner, still the fleas are alive and kicking. 3rd day same story. At this point I can see it isn’t working and I wasted the $25 it costs for it. At least I didn’t spend the $50 for the month. Look at the reviews and notice several of us back to back have rated it the same so obviously something is wrong here. Avoid and save your money and spend it on the more expensive one!
