Works great with an electric wench
I mounted a Badland 2000 electric winch on mine (search for best price), much faster than hand crank. I had to ream out one hole just a little for the second bolt to go in, I used a die grinder, drilling it out a little would also work. I was also able to attach a trailer hitch adaptor to the I beam on my log splitter. I can now lift heavy logs onto my splitter with ease and short lifting strap, or lift them for cutting. I can also use it on my truck. The crane is built very well, if you don't abuse it, it should last forever. I have recommended this to friends with log splitters. It breaks down to 3 parts so it's easy to move, store or set up.

Works great
This thing has been a huge help, I love to deer hunt but suffered a bad back injury which has required 2 surgery so far with a 3rd coming soon. I used to have my dad to help load or my nephew but 2 years ago it was going to be just me and my 7 year old son, who while tries his best to help, just can't lift a deer into the bed of my truck, yes there are other ways to do it, rope and a tree ect. But this thing works amazing, don't have to try to find a tree I can get my truck near, doesn't matter where I'm at, the legs adjust to uneven ground, the crank works easily, the pieces slide right into my truck and are easy enough to slide into my hitch and put together that my 7 year old does it in less than 5 min. He even runs the crank to lift the deer, then it spins so you can lower it right into the bed or your truck. Amazing it's been 2 years now and still works perfect and has loaded 4 deer.

Good first draft, but needs a few changes
This arrived on time, but not all together. The box looked like it had been run over. One end was completely open and 1/3 of one side was also open. Someone tried to patch it up and used a lot of packaging tape to keep it together but the delivery truck handed me some loose parts that had come out of the box. The box needs to be doubled up with a shipping box over the top of the display box. All the pieces were in there, although there are a lot of paint scratches where the tubes bounced around in transit. The bolts that hold the pulleys in place are too short. If they are tightened enough to catch the nylon lock, the brackets pinch the pulleys and the pulleys will not spin. A little loc-tite and a quick prayer - we'll see if the nuts hold. The winch cable unspooled surprisingly quick as soon as tension was released. It took a while to get it spooled back on while keeping enough tension to prevent it from making a birds nest. The first use went well - it lifted the front of a pull-behind mower and made it easy to change out blades. I think it's going to work well for lifting a large heavy pump to and from the rear platform bumper of a fire truck.

You need this
I'm getting old lol the days of throwing a good deer in the truck or on the wheeler are not what they use to be. This things a back saver for the money I used it twice this year and it was money well spent. A little heavy and cumbersome for storing or in the back of truck but what this does will save your back. So far both times I used for whitetails I say to myself why didn't i get this years ago. If you hunt by yourself you need this. For whitetail you probably dont need ground braces. I have the big receiver on my wheeler but did not use this year but would work fine. If your thinking about getting this but think it's pricey just get it the time with a sore back and chiropractic appointments will make up for it.

Viking Solutions Truck Receiver lift.
First the positive: It definitely made lifting my generator easier. I look forward to trying it out when I go hunting. I also will be using it to help get my 5th wheel hitch in and out of the truck. Now the negative: It was delivered with rust right out of the box. I had to wipe it down with WD 40 to stop the rust that had started. There are many little gouges in the paint that were there when I took the plastic covering off, so that makes me believe that they were not very thoughtful in packing the parts. The upper holder for the pulley was squeezed together to the point I had to pound a gradually expanding screwdriver between the two tabs so widen them so the pulley could be put in between the tabs and spin freely. The other problem I encountered was trying to get the inner nut on the inner bolt on the manual winch connecting it to the upper arm. The last (and probably least onerous) The winch cable was wound backwards and I had to un-spool the entire cable and rewind it so it would go to the pulleys correctly. So, I should not have had to wipe rust off, should not have had to expand the tabs to allow the upper pulley wheel to be attached and work, should not have had to rewind the winch cable. Now, as a consideration you might want to increase the length on the two stabilizer legs, with a 4x4 truck, both legs were about 4 inches to short to go all the way to the ground. I had to cut two blocks to place under them to support the rest of the lift. Again, the lift works extremely well once you tweak things putting it together.

Deer lift
I got this one and the box as smashed. Two pieces were bent and the pulley don’t move ( and I still try making it work . But the ratchet pice broke so I exchanged it for a different kind . But it is very heavy and would have worked for years if the one pice hold up

Great little Hoist
Had a rough start with this thing first by it showing up absolutely wrecked and a few parts missing. Once I got that squared away and was able to use it, I really love it. Very strong and reliable. Two down side things is that they didn’t make the bottom supporting legs long enough. It’s on the highest level hole there is and it’s still about 2 inches short which creates an awkward slant when loading things. My truck isn’t even lifted so it would be nice if the legs were longer. The second thing is that when you have a load and you’re trying to lower it to the ground, you better hold on to that crank because if you let go, it spins and there’s no gearing to stop it until it hits the ground. I’ve almost caught the gear handle to my face a few times. Overall this thing has been very handy but a few things on it could be improved. Would recommend getting it.
