LOCK & LOCK Easy Essentials Food Storage lids/Airtight containers, BPA Free, 54 Ounce, Clear

We have been purchasing and using Lock'n Lock brand leakproof containers for about 15 years. They are well worth the price. If you ever go camping these are a must have because if you're ice in your cooler melts it does not go into your food because these have a locking seal!!! There are copycat companies out there do not be fooled because there's are not leak proof and they are junk. Make sure it is this registered brand because we have never been disappointed in it. If you freeze in them just make sure you don't drop the ice cold frozen container on a hard floor because it will crack. Otherwise these are a must have.

Sturdy, just the right size for my plastic flatware that is typically packaged in a cellophane wrapper. I purchased three for the for each of the following: knives, forks and spoons!

I love lock and lock products. This one is the perfect size for a package of sliced cheese!

Great Product

The good...Vertical sides, relatively thin-walled (therefore you get a lot of storage volume relative to external volume), lightweight (good for transporting).The bad...Lid is warping after 6 months (still useable but I store lids separately so warpage takes up more space in cupboard), more difficult to line up lid/closures than other brands.

These containers cost more but they are worth it for 3 reasons. Quality Fit Function. Fit was the most important. The quality has a good feel to it. Only time will tell. The seals function very well. Fit is #1. I even have a picture. I am very old and I need to pack sea bags to move from my 20 acre estate near NYC to a condo TBD. Obviously cost is not an issue. These containers fit in an milk crate very tight. So tight you have to turn 2 of them upside down. I am allowing myself 10 crates. Nothing matters but fit. See pictures. I’ve been using Lock & Lock’s now for about 20 years now. They’re still in use and work just as well as they did on day one. I wanted a couple more of the 16.9 Cup ones as they’re perfect for holding the whole 5lb bags of flour and sugar among other things you want to keep moisture or bugs out of. If you buy these, you won’t be disappointed.

Everyone who goes camping knows that keeping food cold and dry is two of the hardest struggles. I bought these after reading the reviews, and they did NOT disappoint!! I used these and put our food in them, threw them in the cooler with some frozen ice packs, and they stayed fresh, dry, and cold all weekend inside these containers. They also worked really well with keeping things fresh and tasting like we just made it. It didnt give the food that plasticy taste.
