Conair GS38 Turbo ExtremeSteam Handheld Fabric Steamer

I use this item to steam batting, backing, and quilt tops on my long arm quilting machine. This is one of the least expensive and most impactful tools I have in my long arm studio. An instructor for Quilt Path recommended I pick this up and he was so right. My quilts are a lot more straight and even after they've been steamed. I already had a steamer in my studio but it's part of my iron and it doesn't reach across a quilt top like this steamer does. Also this steamer heads up really quickly and the steam power is out of this world, so great. The reservoir is a little small so I find myself refilling it to get enough steam on anything larger than 60" wide or long. It can stay hot all day and the steam valve opens and closes with the simple touch of a single button. Very intuitive to use, I recommend this to anyone who needs powerful portable steam at the touch of a button and with a LONG cord to extend your reach. Fantastic purchase, zero regrets.

As a professional window treatment installer this particular steamer is the best i have ever used. For starters I used a heavy duty commercial steamer as long as I have been installing window treatments (42 yrs ).The steamer I used was heavy, spit water ,and blew fuses in many of the homes I worked in.It was excellent for the strong steam . I purchased my first Conair when I was doing a project in Long Island New York.I was flown out there and was limited with tools I could bring.The designer and I went to Target and I picked this model. The product was reasonably priced.I liked the Turbo steam Idea but was skeptical until I plugged it in .I was immediatley amazed on the strong consistant shot of steam and minimal water dripping on the floor.The steamer came with a brush and flat edge attachment .The flat edge was attached to the head of the steamer and while pulling the steamer top to bottom of the drapery the flat edge flattened the wrinkles instantly . The power of the steam was comparable to that of a commercial steamer but the Conair weighs 3 lbs versus 30 lbs with the commercial.I have used it for over a year now with the exception of misplacing it and having to replace it .The longevity of this steamer has sold me .Replacing was painless compared to replacing a commercial steamer. The only downfall is the small water container which needs to be refilled more often. I highly reccomend the Conair steamer.

It did a very good job of putting creases in shorts and slacks. A trick I used was to use a few small clothespins to hold the crease in shape as I steamed. I t would have been nice to have it a little lighter but it was something I could handle. The instructions were helpful.

Heavy and awkward to use. Stopped working after 4 uses.

It's kind of heavy. I need to refill the water after a pair of pants. It comes with a long cord that is heavy. I wish it came with a stand option so it would be easier to put the steamer down.

It's way bigger than I expected. I like how fast it is to heat up, & that it only emits steam when you want it to by holding down the button, that way you're not wasting steam. I love the silicone squeegee like attachment that aids in stretching the clothes as you steam to effectively get the wrinkles out. This is say better than my old stand up steamer. Nice that it has a base to rest on too. Nice turbo steam option. I am very pleased with this & I would 100% recommend it to anyone & buy again if it came down to it.

It works fine. I hope it does, anyway.

Hi I received this damaged and it’s not working

Je suis très satisfait de ce défroisseur vapeur. Il est puissant, chauffe rapidement et permet de défroisser les vêtements efficacement sans avoir à sortir la planche à repasser. Il est particulièrement pratique pour les chemises, pantalons, vestes et tissus plus délicats. J’apprécie également son format portatif et sa bonne prise en main. La vapeur est suffisamment abondante pour venir à bout des plis assez rapidement, ce qui en fait un appareil très pratique au quotidien ou avant de partir en voyage. Petit point négatif : le réservoir d’eau pourrait être un peu plus grand, car il faut parfois le remplir lors d’une séance de défroissage plus importante. Dans l’ensemble, c’est un excellent défroisseur, , qui permet de gagner beaucoup de temps par rapport à un fer à repasser traditionnel.

I’ve got a different product with only one hole for steaming . It also has a non legal UAE plug type instead it has a US plug type.moreover the product is not working properly and water is coming out of the hole instead of steam. I wanted to return the steamer and it’s a self shipping return so I went to Aramex and requested shipping but the man there asked me to call the seller number mentioned on the return label because he claimed that the sellers are not responding usually and the shipment fails so I called many times no answer and the Aramex guy said I will not accept it unless they answer. Now I still have the product with me and I don’t know what to do. In conclusion it was a bad experience and a headache to buy this steamer keep in mind that it’s also not that cheap.

Funcionó muy bien por unos cuantos meses, planchaba bien, práctica y sacaba del apuro, pero de un momento a otro ya no sale vapor y solo suena como si fuera a funcionar pero aunque me quedé esperando mucho tiempo, nada más no sale el vapor. No sé si haya algún truco para que vuelva a funcionar ya que si me gustaba su practicidad y como dejaba la ropa.
