Wow! I was subscribed to another brand (which is also very good) but it was out of stock and I had none left. Amazon recommended this one so I looked at a few others, then decided to try it. When it arrived I was a little worried because it was re-packaged. The bag was fine; no issues, but I wondered if it was a cheaper cocoa the supplier gets in bulk.I use cocoa powder primarily in hot coffee. I added my usual amount (a scant Tbsp) and the flavor was amazing. This is the best of several high-end brands I've tried. You know how cocoa powder is often a little bitter? This is not at all. It's just rich and so smooth it's almost frictionless ;-)The powder consistency is fine, almost fluffy (like powdered sugar) and super consistent. As a lifelong "chocoholic" I was too impressed to not write a review! Adding to my auto-subscribe!

in the u.s., our grocery store variety cocoa has about 10% cocoa butter (fat). less fat, less flavor. at 22/24% fat, this cocoa powder yields really delicious bakes. bensdorp came up in my research as one of the better ones on the market. will definitely buy again - you can taste the difference.

Yes it's worth the money. Best cocoa powder I have ever bought. There is such a deeper flavor when I use in baked goods. I also mix a small amount into my daily protein shake..

It's dutch cacao....the product bag must of had tears because the cacao all in the box. Glad i didn't order anything white. For the seller, maybe wrap some more bubble wrap around the product to protect it and other items in the shipping box from being destroyed...other then that I'm satisfied.

I wasn't sure if it was worth the money to buy this. Let me tell you, it Is. I made the best chocolate bundt cake ever. Would post a photo but it's already gone. Passed slices around to neighbors and got rave reviews. No mistake: This is the hands-down the best chocolate I've ever used for baking. Rich, flavorful, smooth, delicious. I can't wait to use it for chocolate madeleines and chocolate cupcakes.
