The Absolute Best! Truly Authentic Valencian Horchata Taste—I Wish I Could Buy a Gallon!
This Mercader Whole Tigernut Horchata is the real deal. It is, without a doubt, the absolute best packaged horchata I have ever tasted outside of Spain. The flavor profile is incredibly authentic, perfectly capturing the delicate, refreshing, and slightly nutty sweetness of true Valencian Horchata. It is miles above the common milk-based or rice-based imitations.I love that it is made from whole tigernuts, giving it that classic, rich texture. It is delicious chilled, which is how it should be enjoyed.I will be buying this over and over again. My only complaint is that I need a larger size—I sincerely wish this was available in a gallon jug! If you are looking for an authentic taste of Spain, this is the one to buy.

Tasted exactly how I remembered it when I lived in Valencia
This is the real deal. Although expensive, it’s a real treat. Try it as a frozen slushy treat. My cousin and I would visit the local Horchateria in Valencia and enjoy horchata semi frozen. Also loved the nuts, not dried, but they were a juicy treat at a local fair. Definitely never found those outside of Valencia.

Undrinkable
This does not taste like horchata de chufa AT ALL! I don’t know if the one I got was a bad batch (unlikely) but it was literally undrinkable. I’m unable to return it due to AMAZON policy but the seller should issue a refund. Very disappointed.

Closest to real Spanish horchata I’ve ever had
I didn’t notice the size because no “banana for scale.” When it arrived it was much smaller than I’d expected.But. Given that I’d otherwise have to fly to Spain to get this stuff otherwise, I think it’s totally worth it as an occasional treat. Delicious!

It is funky
It tasted funky, then I freeze it and I think it was ok, I really don't know what to think about it. it is not as good as Horchata Chufy and it was salty?
