Enjoyably written; very accessible
I can't quite work out who this is intended to be 'for' - it's very accessible, teens or pre-teens perhaps, but honestly my wife and I are really enjoying it, as sort of 'culturally interested but not very familiar with all the stories nor practicing Hindus'. It's composed of short chapters, each a distinct story from different voices, but of course all centred around Krishna; so far at least in at least a rough chronological order, from birth. This makes it very easy to dip in and out, and I'm sure you could even enjoy them out of order if you had some reason to want to, it doesn't need to be read front to back in a short space of time. The only background you might need is to be aware of various names for Krishna - Kanha, Kanhaiya for example of the top of my head, but I think even this is fairly clear, and of course if you doubt it enough to look it up you can easily check. The book itself is attractive, a nice cover, though suffers in the way that all these faux-gilt silk bindings do in that it will wear and rub off. Overall I really recommend it, I'm enjoying it, but it's not hard reading, and if you're already a devout follower or well familiar with stories of Sri Krishna and expecting a denser text to think more deeply about then you may be disappointed. For light reading, or something for a younger one, go for it!

Little Blue Book on Krishna
Colour of the book is so vibrant. The book is easy to read as the episodes were described in simple, easy to understand language. A good book for people reading about Krishna for the first time. Enjoyed it.
