Not a clean cut
I bought these shears because I'm a newbie grafter and I have trouble making a clean whip cut. I find my knife often twists though the wood, leaving a bizarre surface that's hard to mate.These shears don't solve my problem. They don't cut cleanly though the whole scion, leaving a ragged edge at the end. Furthermore, the piece that is cut off often becomes lodged in the gap just below the blade.I wound up just using the knife after all. Practice will prevail.

Does Not Cut Clean
The build quality seems ok but it was very difficult to get a clean cut. This may be due to the blade being dull or the angle of the cut being improper.

Hard to use, will not provide the clean cut to make the graft.
