works as advertised
was a little worried seeing all these reviews of the valve not working. it's pretty simple, screw it down to close valve and pierce can, unscrew it out to release the r134a. simple as that, works as advertised. I used this with my ac manifold gauge kit on the yellow line, when i had to open the red or blue side valves for whatever reason, never seen or heard any leakage from the yellow side, it held up well. With can on, works as advertised to feed blue line r134a.

This worked great!
This worked great. It was exactly what I needed at a great price. Didn't advertise this, but the valve I recieved was a name brand (A/C Pro) whose products I have used before with great satisfaction. Well built with solid construction, threads fit and seated properly for a good tight seal. Point on valve easily pierced the seal on the can. Shipping was VERY fast (received it a day and a half after ordering- a day earlier than expected!). Satisfied with this product and this retailer.

Works well
The valve is well made, seals well to the can and is easy to use. The only issue I had was as I used it the valve became harder to use because the rubber packing ring on the valve stem was dragging on the stem. I removed the valve stem and wiped it with a drop of two of compressor oil and it now turns very easy. Good product at a good price.

Worked exactly as needed
Worked well for everything I needed. I followed the directions on the back on the package to screw the handle counterclockwise prior to attaching to can, then to screw handle clockwise down to pierce can, then to screw the handle back counterclockwise to open for flow. Didn't have any problems with flow. With the handle turned back fully counterclockwise I didn't have any issues with leakage around the handle shaft. For reference, I've included a photo of the two brands of refrigerant cans I've used thus far. Also, after finishing I was able to screw the handle down fully clockwise to seal the can and then disconnect the charging hose without the can leaking out. I'll be interested to see if it holds the can contents sealed for months to come. Minor issue, only reason not 5 stars, was that it hissed a little as I screwed the handle back down from fully counterclockwise to fully clockwise (closed). Again, it sealed when in either extreme position, but leaked a little during the transition. Hopefully it never becomes an issue where it leaks continually even at the extreme positions.

Not the size I needed
Seems the industry has been playing games with hose sizes the last 10-15 years, as I needed what they all call 1/2" and not the 1/4" they shipped me which it seems is what everyone calls the smaller of the two, when in fact is closer 7/16" or 3/8". The older yellow charging hoses use the 1/2" male output nipple. The newer hoses seem to using the smaller nipple they call 1/4" but in reality my tape shows it to be about 7/16" just a hair bigger than 3/8" measuring the thread OD of both. I will keep this one as it is well built and brass, and I think they make adapters for it, and the day may come where I buy a new yellow hose, and they may not be making the 1/2" charging yellow hose by then. Sure wish Amazon sellers would take the time to learn about the specs of what they are selling and put all the actual data up and some vague 1/4" number out there.....Rant over. This one is physically about 1/16" too small for the older yellow charging hoses!!!

Works great.
No issues with this product. If you have the slightest amount of knowledge of how a valve works then you will have no issues with this. Install the tap onto can with valve all the way out, then turn the valve all the way in, to pierce the can, then back it all the way out again to let the refrigerant flow. Basic stuff.

do not buy anything from this seller!!!
This product does not work. I dislike having my time and money wasted. Detaching a can of high pressure freon( if the can is pierced) is a dangerous situation. No worries with Kozy Kozy their tap was 100% defective! Poor fools that had a 90% defective tap and got a face full of freon, maybe they're not feeling too Kozy? Read Kozy's warranty and return policy and it's easy to judge the commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Zero stars here! They should be banned from selling on Amazon until they have a fully compensated recall with apologies.

Works fine and screws on the standard r134 can
The specs on the site described it exactly. This was what i needed to upgrade my old r12 set to function with the r134 coupler upgrade i purchased so now i can add freon r134 with my old r12 gage set. Works fine and screws on the standard r134 can. It was shipped fast and on time..Well made and sealed in blister pack so the gasket stays with it until you get it.
