RT Mini Spring Assist Pocket Knife (Carbon Fiber)

This knife is great. It operates very smoothly both deploying and retracting. The blade is reasonably sharp out of the box. It is a small knife but not in a bad way at all. It seems very sturdy and hasn't given me any trouble at all, should last a good long time.

It's a whole lot smaller than I thought it would be. It's made with 440 Stainless steel which means that it is a quality blade. t's cute and it fits literally in the palm of your hand. I gave 4 stars because I literally thought it was going to be a little bit bigger.

i just got the knife today. it opens every time so far. its a tiny 2 inch blade and mine is sharp 440 steal and light as hell. the color i got is carbon fiber. i wanna think it is, but its the color listed. if you want a switch blade for everyday carry and defense. you might need to rethink life. anyways i digress, light knife, sharp blade and 25 bucks. ill update if the auto fails.

My nephew got a Microtech UTX-85, which is a really sweet little knife. I liked that the spring-assist both opens and closes the blade, which makes for simple, effortless one-handed operation. I thought that I'd get one until I saw the price, which is about 15 times as much as this knife. I started looking for a more reasonably priced alternative of similar design and found this. It's a nice little knife that seems to be of good quality and it functions well.

This knife stopped working after a few weeks and would not retract!

The action is exactly like you would want it to be. Great for opening boxes and envelopes and just fiddling around with. Small, but it doesn't really need to be big for what it is. I've had it for a couple weeks now and I love it. It might not stand up to that much abuse so don't get it thinking it's going to be something like an EDC but within reason, it's pretty awesome.

After my son gave me one of these for Christmas, I purchased a second one in February for my wife’s birthday. She has had it for about a month and has probably operated it less than 10 times, but the last time she tried to use it, the spring mechanism had broken and the knife blade would not exit the housing. For the price and time delay in receiving this order, I am very disappointed and would strongly recommend against purchasing this knife.
