Easy to fit inlet
This unit is easy to fit but no instructions are supplied. Most tricky part is setting the hight for the water fill, there needs to be space when fitted in place to allow the top chamber to be twisted anti clock wise this allows the unit to be pulled up or down which adjusts the water fill height. Turn clock wise to lock in place.

UPDATED REVIEW: Well, I have my answer: 3 months. That’s how long this thing lasted before breaking and throwing water everywhere… and of course it was while we were away for the weekend. I think we got extremely lucky as it appears it burst shortly before we got home. If it had failed when we were leaving, I’d have a very expensive repair bill for water damage.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don’t know why I do this to myself, always looking for the cheapest price. This is built down to a price. The nuts and thread are all soft plastic. That means: do not over-tighten! Just make sure it’s not leaking and give it a nip tighter. The item description above is useless. There are no instructions. However, it’s easy to fit and adjust, and it’s working absolutely fine… for now.

Very slow fill.
The item was easy to fit is quiet & looks ok.**** But takes 10 minutes to refill the cistern.****

Have purchased two of these to fix old toilet systens, great price easy to install and does the same job as the expensive ones.

Good value item
Appears well made, fitted in five minutes although some instructions would be useful.

Poor quality plastic
This product feels cheap, but I suppose that's because it comes at such a low cost. The plastic thread is so soft, cross-threading & leakage is highly likely and renders it useless from the outset. Now in the bin alongside the one I was trying to replace.

Easy to fit & cheap, but noisy
I’ve never had such a noisy fill valve. But it was cheap, easy to fit and solved my constantly running throne.
