Less messy alternative to slime
I've got a 4 year old who loves slime. I don't enjoy picking it it off the carpet, her clothes, or eyebrows and eyelashes (yes, really). This is a nice way for her to her squishy sensory needs. She enjoys making them into the shadows in the cards. And thus far, true to description, they haven't dried out. And ready to get off of things. A little sticky, but need to run to the internet for solutions!!

Bigger than expected
I bought this for my 2 year old but waiting till my 10 year old can help him with the cards and such, brother bonding! Also they don't tell you, at least I didn't see it in description, that the color can bleed to carpet, clothing and other things so another reason I'm waiting, so they can do it outside. It's been raining here for days. Been a crappy cold rainy summer here, bleh! Anyways I was impressed when I opened the box, stuff usually looks bigger on here then you receive it and it's tiny . This set was very cheap and waaway larger than expected. I can't wait til we can get out and play with it!

Great value!
I got these on a deal and they are so worth it! There is plenty of foam in one package. Good buy!

lots of cards and foams, simple play.
I will be a bit repetitive with these, as I ordered several of them in various themes for the kids in my life while they are over visiting with friends and family. This kit is one of the more inclusive kits while remaining simple in use, it has 8 foams and a bunch of cards to make various clothing and acessory items for the people on the cards. The key here is guided play, to prevent the foams from all becoming one big brown mixed up blob. Great toy for encouraging creativity and individuality of choice for the tots. Everything seems to be pretty safe and on the up and up.The foams are a bit coarse in terms of texture, and can be hard to shape into smooth figures, but the kids seem to pick up the techniques and methods to get what they are shaping to come out well pretty naturally. Odd smelling stuff, nothing bad, just odd. The kids dont seem to mind.

Fun playfoam set for little ones
My kids (3 & 5 yr olds) are big fans of playfoam. This set is geared toward the younger age group, encouraging making simple shapes to complete pictures.Playfoam does not allow high level of detail, but is best for making general shapes. It is good for making 3D shapes like snowmen. It doesn’t dry out like play dough or make large messes like kinetic sand.It is also good for children (and adults) who have busy hands.

Fun to play
It’s a great sensory toy for toddlers. My 3 year old loves it. He creates shapes and learns colors while playing. It doesn’t last but we have lots of fun playing it.

Fun Non Screen Activity for 3YO
My 3 YO has sensory issues and this was so calming for her. As a newly minted big sister there are lots of times mommy has to tend to the baby and having a little kit like this around is great to have for entertainment throughout the day! It came with lots of colors and is surprisingly not sticky despite how it looks. The little cardboard cards were very durable. It came with many colors. It did not keep her entertained as long as kinetic sand I got about 15 minutes of solo play. Still glad to have this in our arsenal of activities!

Fun activity with no preparation or mess
Play foam is great for sensory play with no mess or clean up. Unlike playdough this stuff does not stick to carpets and it doesn’t leave any residue on hands, or feel overly sticky like slime but is easy to mould and fun to play with. This set includes 8 different colours and loads of cards with pictures to fill in using the coloured foam. This is a great idea to give some more structure and prompting to the kids, to keep them playing longerThe cards are all double sided and have bright appealing colourful designs.Played this with my girl age 5 and she had lots of fun, it’s a great calming and peaceful activity to keep little ones entertained and creative.Would recommend for younger kids too, maybe around 2-6 years but with under three supervise that they don’t put any in their mouthThe only thing to be aware with playfoam is keep an eye on the kids not mixing the colours too much as if you do squish multiple colours together firmly it will be hard to separate those again. If they lightly touch you can just about separate them back out but if it’s squashed fully then you will be out of luckOverall would recommend this set, definitely worth a try to keep young kids entertained and having fun

PlayFoam Shapers
We have had a bit of Learning Resources' 'Playfoam' before, so we know that it is fun stuff. It is not quite like anything else. Most comparable would be something like PlayDoh, but it is not as sticky or as stretchy. Instead, it is made from thousands of micro foam beads that stick to one another that becomes a homogonous whole. You can shape it, but you don't quite have the freedom of a dough. What you do have is less mess, although we do find the beads around the place.Learning Resources package the foam in lots of different ways and this one comes with some fun imagery with spaces that you can shape the foam into. The colours don't bleed into one another like PlayDoh, but you will find that separating all the beads will be impossible and forever there will be some blue in the orange etc. At least they don't all go brown. As an alternative to plasticine types, 'Playfoam' is a great, cleaner alternative. This set will keep kids busy, but they may end up just playing with the foam and discarding the cards.

Different kind of playdoh, fun to use
This activity is good fun. We only recommendation it for 3 years plus because younger toddlers are bound to want to get a taste of the little balls. It's a different kind of playdoh that is great fun. You can shape it easily into anything and there's lots of different colours to create the missing items from the cards included. It ca be reused multiple times. My toddler has been enjoying playing with it.We have had many educational toys from learning resources and weve never been disappointed. We recommend it!

Over priced and over packed
Currently priced at £17.00….What do you get…this comes in a larger than needed box…you get 8 different coloured play foam that look like little tiny balls of foam stuck together….but can be pulled apart shaped and put back….you also get.13 double sided thick large cards with a different picture on each one…with a bit on each one where you shape the foam to go into….I’m sure little ones will love playing with this set…..I believe this to be quite pricey…..could have halved the box it came in….
