Great product
I use it all the time. It works great . Just elevate your gas can above where you want the gas to flow. Shove it in the gas can until it builds up in the line over the highest point and it will begin to flow. You can hear the glass valve clicking meaning it is sucking out gas. It will empty a 5 gallon can in 3 minutes or less. To stop the flow just pull it out of the gas can. No batteries. No cost to use. You can't beat it. 1/2 inch works for cars. 3/4 is to large for a normal gas tank. Works best in warm weather where you can get it right on the bottom of the gas can but works year round. Will work best on a full gas can. A partial filled can is harder to get it primed but not impossible to do.

Easy to use
Drain hose works surprisingly well just a few shakes and the hot tub was drained in 30 minutes...good flow! Suggest you weigh the suction end down with a rock or hand weight to keep it securely in the low spot to get every drop!

Works as advertised and pretty fast to boot
My first attempt at using this was on a cold dark night. I do not recommend it.I do recommend this syphon though. I'm using it on diesel and it works very well once you figure out the ins and outs. The PVC hose that comes with it likes to stay coiled. I ended up cutting mine down to about 5 feet as the rest was just in the way most of the time. It definitely prefers a warmer ambient temp for unfurling, otherwise you get kinks if you try to straighten enough for a nice arc up and down into receiving tank.I may try a hose with a metal spring liner/shae keeper next time.Otherwise this thing works GREAT. Once you figure out the priming procedure it just flows beautifully. It seems to work best if you can get a straight up and down shot at the fluid you're trying to syphon. my attempts from angles haven't been successful. This is another problem with that stiff curly hose as it makes it very difficult to get a straight shot at the reservoir when pumping it up and down.Overall easily worth the money. Other syphon contraptions I've used don't seem to hold up to fuel and other oil products. Either a gasket/o-ring gives out or the plastic pump housing or bladder or whatever fails prematurely. The simplicity of this one gives me a lot of confidence.

siphon gas from can
I fill my boat periodically from 5-gallon gas jugs and because the boat tank is 43 gallons, I needed a better way to transfer gas from the jugs to the boat. I'd been using a funnel and pouring gas from the jug into the funnel (slowly and carefully). I hated having to lift and hold the full jugs while pouring gas. I came across this product and it works great. I set the jug on my dock (the boat fill port is a little lower), place the open end into the boat fill port and the other end into the gas jug. WIth a few "up/down" pumps of the tube, gas starts lowing from the jug to the boat tank. It takes a few minutes to transfer 5-gallons from the jug to the boat which is less time than trying to pour it from the jug. I leave the end in the boat fill port and move the other end to the next gas jug which results in not a drop of spillage. Great product. I've been using the same one for 3 years. I store it in a dark shed which keeps the clear tube from sun discoloration.

Good Product, But Read Instructions Carefully
The Easy Siphon is a helpful tool that promises to transfer a wide range of liquids, from fuels to beverages, with relative ease. True to its name, the siphon process is straightforward, with the shaking mechanism being a unique feature that initiates the siphoning action. However, while the product is strong and seems invaluable at first glance, it's essential to thoroughly understand the instructions before attempting to use it. Here's where I faltered:During a track day, I bought the Easy Siphon to transfer petrol into my Honda FIT RS. Enthusiastic about using it, I missed a critical point in the instructions: the fluid container you're siphoning from needs to be positioned HIGHER than the receiving end. This detail is crucial for the siphon to work effectively. As a result, I spent almost 30 minutes trying to get it to work, looking quite comical, as if I were a child playing with a hose. Luckily, I had a backup - the Brandon-Super Gasoline Siphon Hose. This manual fuel pump saved the day, allowing me to transfer the petrol from the canisters into my car without further issues.Pros:Versatile: Can transfer various liquids.Strong and durable design.Unique shake-to-start mechanism.Cons:If the syphoning container is not able to be above the transfer point, it may not tbe the most useful productIn conclusion, the Easy Siphon is a good product, but potential users should thoroughly understand its working mechanism to avoid mishaps like mine. If you're in a situation where you can't ensure the fluid's source is higher than the receiving end, consider having a backup option, like the Brandon-Super Gasoline Siphon Hose.

TOTAL SCAM!!!
I ordered this product after watchung a tik tok by @ FunkFPV giving a thumbs up! There are many similar products like these on Amazon! But honestly , it's just a gimmick! Totally a scam!!! The only reason I decided not to return it is because of the hose. Good quality vinyl hose. That's about it!!! The copper piece and the marble, and the spring is useless!!! I ordered the 3/4" hose. Just does not work!!! Water and many fluid are heavy, and no way that little marble can force water to go over the curvature of the hose no matter how hard or how long or how vigorously you shake it!!! Therefore, it is just total nonsense. So ridiculous how people can market and mass produce such a corny piece product. And so ridiculous how people can fall for such a scam. So disappointed!!! SMFH!
