Linear motor
What a piece of JUNK. First off the switch to motor plug-insโฆ. Both MALE ends. Impossible to connect motor to speed controller. Secondly, with just the SLIGHTEST amount of resistance stalled the motor out. Didnโt matter how close the arms were attached to the motor shaft. But then again, I shouldnโt have expected โqualityโ from a manufacturer over-seas, and you can about imagine who THAT would be. Donโt waste your time. Find an American made unit!

This is a great product. I just want something to hook it up to so I can have some wild robot sex. Thoughts?

Pleased for the price!
Iโm happy with my new toy! Had to come up with a basic enclosure to allow the mechanism to operate without interference, wanted to keep it small and low. It has plenty of torque as long as you keep the stroke length under 4.5 inches. My only complaint would be the length of the cord on the controller, it should be longer between the switch and the motor. Considering getting the remote:)

Will not meet advertised specs
It will not lift the rated weight at 50% of the rated weight. After ~60 min of total use the gear inside the box cracked and was unusable. I think this would be fine for 10-15% of the specification and should be advertised (and priced) as such. The mounting, slides and shaft are top notch. Jus the motor/gear box that is too flimsy for real use.

Gear started grinding after four uses
After four uses the gears started grinding. The machine completely froze.
