Does this work better than a solar cover?

We feel the solar cover works better. If your pool is in the sun and it 's cool it works decently...but if the temp drops into the low 60' s you've lost alot of what you gained

What color is it? And is it a thick liquid? Why do you not dose by surface area?

I found it didn’t do anything

Doesn't say what is in it. Called and was told propylene glycol. Anti freeze? I'm worried about swimming in it.

Propylene glycol is used in foods, cosmetics, and industry. You can use it as antifreeze as well. Do Not confuse this with Ethylene glycol which is traditional antifreeze but is toxic.

Can you use for above ground pools?

I don’t know but I found it didn’t do a thing
