Got it for our baby, who is just over a year now. Good value product. Has withstood several drops. He really enjoysPros:- Easy to use- Simple options- Timer feature- Multiple single color and combination color options- Stationary or motion options- softer filter cover or projection optionsCons:- motion is a bit too fast, needs a speed option- interface is a bit counter intuitive, but easy to learn- battery life is not best, it eats power, but reasonable given the functionality- lights are VERY bright with the filter cover off, so need to set it up high to keep out of direct contact with eyesI totally recommend it!

Kids loved this. My 4 year old boy kept wanting his light on and didn't want to stay in bed at bed time. This worked great for us, it gave enough light he felt comfortable but not so much it hindered him going to sleep. Being able to pick the color combo really helps on the brightness of it. Happy enough with it that I bought a second for my daughter. Timer is great, I set it for just 30 minutes for my son and that's great for hom just getting to sleep but for my 2 year old daughter I set it for about 6 hours so that it is on all through the night as a night light in case she wakes up. The spinning feature is fun but I find it a little louder than what i would prefer but my son doesn't seem to mind. I don't use the spinning feature with my daughter however, unless requested, because sometimes she likes me to sit with her a few minutes while she falls asleep and it makes me car sick to have the room feel like it's spinning.Great for kids and night lights and just for getting your kid ok south staying in bed

If my 5 year old didn't have a computer in his room, I don't know what we would do. There is no way to plug it into the wall, and our 5 year old needs this on all night. If we had to use batteries, I'm sure we would be going through some batteries. Luckily he has a laptop in his room so it can be plugged in all the time. Other than that, this thing is awesome!!Bright lights, lots of options for settings, love how long we can set the timer, and the colors are vibrant.

I bought this for one of my children at Christmas, so I've had it for several months now. I've been using the AC power supply, and using the star projection rather than the regular lamp. Every night I set the timer, turn on all the different colors (you can select which combination of colors you want active at any time), and turn on the rotation, and away it goes. My child loves it. It covers the walls and ceiling with stars and moons. It puts out enough light to see by, but not enough to disturb sleep. The motor is very quiet; you have to get very close to be able to hear it. All in all a nice product. The price may seem a little high for the simple function it provides, but the fact that it works reliably, quietly, and helps my child sleep peacefully is worth it.

this one is excellent! i have bought the cheaper ones twice now and they each have eventually broken and i had to replace. this one feels more solid and durable. it also shines the stars many times brighter than the other ones! and last but not least there is a timer! one of the issues with this is is having to get up from bed or go back into the room to turn it off. the timer is amazing! i feel this is a great price for a product that feels more durable, shines brighter and has the timer featureonly issue is it does not come with a plug into the wall. it has a USB cord and you need to use your own usb port (we used the one from our iPhone) to plug it in. it does have room for batteries but i will likely not be using that feature. so it would be nice if it came with a plug

Update after 2 weeks: motor makes terribly loud noise. Initiated returnUpdate after 3 weeks: motor quieting down. May not return it.Update after 4 weeks: yellow color already burned out. Will return. Motor semi loud again.Initial thoughtsSmall, nice color options, easy to use, amazing timer allowing it to run all night long. I don’t mind that the stars are a little blurred it makes them more realistic. Some are clear some are blurred. Projects better if in the middle of your room but it is on dresser along the wall so there are clear stars close to the wall and they are a bit skewed across the room. Again, it doesn’t bother me. I am skeptical due to reviews saying it stopped spinning or working after a week or two but so far excellent performance for me. I would have given more stars if it would have came with the 5V adapter. I had to borrow one from my cell phone and have to keep pulling the dresser back out when I need to charge my phone. I will pick up a spare one and then I will be fine. As of right now I am thrilled with this light and my 3 year old loves it. I have struggled for 3 years to get him to stay in the bed at night and now he is sleeping like a champ.

Not really the best light to let your child hold at bedtime, unless you want to replace it fast. The star insert is rather flimsy, and can easily break/ get bent. The timer is set by clicking the button repeatedly until you get the time you want. It goes in 5 minute intervals, and you can not long press to go faster. All that being said, I do really like the product. I have it on a bookshelf out of each of my son. He loves the stars at night. Many color combos keep it fresh and exciting. My son also likes that it can spin. Before bedtime, I love that it can be a lamp. Not the brightest, but works perfect.
