Comfortable and warm lightweight jacket
I have an Eddie Bauer down jacket that I was replacing. At the tail end of winter it’s hard to find things in my size or desired color. I found this jacket which was perfect in size. This type of jacket is very lightweight but provides a lot of insulation. It has two zippered outer pockets and an inside zippered chest pocket. I went outside today which was in the low 20s Fahrenheit. There was a decent wind outside, too. It kept me warm and free from the wind. It’s very comfortable and my choice of jackets for the high forties down to the low teens. The zipper works perfectly. It is accompanied by a small carry bag for easy transport. The hood is comfortable but it doesn’t have a tie down. For the money, it’s an excellent jacket with nice functionality and comfort. I’d definitely get it again. Update I wore it in Boulder, Colorado, in 22 degree temperature. It was very comfortable. In Roanoke, VA we had heavy winds at 32 degrees, and I was still very comfortable. The inside chest pocket comes in handy. Having the accompanying drawstring bag came in handy when traveling, whether it was to store my jacket, store snacks or transiently store my Tablet. The zippers are holding up well.

A great value
A lightweight but warm jacket. The fit is as advertised, and I am impressed with the quality. I would not hesitate to buy another one of these jackets.

Great jacket for the price
My wife and I are now retired and traveling more. In June we are going on a cruise to Alaska. We wanted warm jackets that packed well and didn’t want to pay a lot. After much research we bought these. PROS: Warm enough. Today we were in 47 degree weather with strong winds. With a t-shirt, fleece pullover, and the jacket I was warm. Like the inside pocket for my cell phone. Came with a nice drawstring bag for packing (my wife’s did not) and packed well. XL fit my 6’1”, 215 lb. frame perfectly. Fully zipped up, the hood did not blow off in the strong wind, though it allow some cold air in. CONS: No drawstring on the hood. My wife’s did not come with a packing bag. Might not work in freezing temps. Unsure about the long term durability. In summary, we are happy with these jackets for the price. We got them for traveling as they are very packable. Anyone that wants an everyday jacket for freezing temperatures may want to buy a higher quality jacket.

Fantastic jacket!
I bought this to wear on a trip traveling through France, specifically to I could wear it in Chamonix, riding the cable cars up to the station in the French Alps! I could not have been happier with how warm it kept me and how small it packed. I could not have been happier with my purchase!!!! (It was cold enough up in the Alps that my Ray Ban Metas stopped working!)

Super value and great fit for tall guy
I ordered the coat in black size xl. I'm 6 ft 3in 215lbs long arms with medium frame size and this coat fits surprisingly really nice. I have trouble finding coats that fit correctly. 2xl arm lengths are usually correct but coats are bit big on me. I was impressed with fit, coat quality is really good, the weight is light without appearing fragile and the stuff sack works just fine. Overall, 59 bucks is a great deal! Very happy, wife is ordering one. I needed a light weight, but warm enough coat for hiking in general, but part of my layering system for climbing mount adams in Washington state. I believe this fits the bill just fine. I highly recommend

Water resistance
This jacket is very light, warm and it compresses well for packing. That much is obvious from the description and the reviews. It can be very hard to determine how a "water resistant" jacket will hold up in rain based on just the reviews. Will you be fine in a light quick drizzle? How about a long downpour? To test it properly, it's off to the shower. Here's my results: The fabric resists water well. It mostly beads up at first but will spread out after a longer time. The fabric still did not let the water through. The hood was the same and also did quite well. I would guess after hours of heavy rain there would be some penetration at the seams but under normal use it should suffice. The only caveat is the front and pocket zippers. The zipper area is not at all water resistant and if you get a lot of rain you will have water seeping through in that area. Whatever you are wearing will have a stripe down the middle from the water getting in the front zipper area. In conclusion-If you are traveling, skiing or just walking around outside you should be fine. If you plan on taking it camping in the rain, you might want something waterproof.

Fits well, warm, just a great coat
This is the first Amazon branded coat I ever bought and I’m thoroughly impressed. It was only $60 and so far has been just as warm or warmer than more expensive puffy coats I’ve owned from Cabelas and LL Bean. It also fits way better than a Patagonia puffy coat I have as that one uses a tighter fitting style. Unless you are a pinner little guy, the Patagonia coats will likely be too tight to be comfortable. I love the zipper pockets and the chest pocket that actually keeps your phone from freezing. It has no logos so you don’t stand out wearing some kind of weird brand no one has ever heard of and then have your buddies rip on you for wearing white dragon or some other bazaar Chinese name. The hood fits nice, the coat is light and comfortable, it’s warm, beads water while new, it’s a great coat for $60. Puffy coats are generally way overpriced.
