Perfect for 2015 Audi A4. Strong strut with easy installation.
This is a great option for replacing the hood lift strut on a 2015 Audi A4. It is the perfect length and strength. Installation is really easy as it has metal tabs around the mounts to attach (instead of a pin clip as seen on other struts) and the whole swap can be done in 5 minutes. My strut was blown so I would struggle to even open the hood. My first pic shows my hood being held up by a broomstick with the dead strut, the second one is the A-Premium strut installed. On my last photo here, you can see how it is strong enough to pop the hood up slightly whereas a dead strut would leave it sealed. It allows for nicer ease of closing and is well worth the price.

Great support and incredibly easy to install in just a few minutes!!
The lift support on my 2011Audi A4 gave out and instead of just propping it up with a wooden stick I purchased this lift support. It was easy to install (instructions on the Amazon website not in or on the box it came in), essentially just aligning it to the existing car sockets, loosening the two retaining bands one at a time at either end, fitting it on one, resetting the retention band and then fitting the other. I just installed it so don't know about how long it will last but it seems to be very durable and since my car is 15 years old, I expect it will outlive the car. My car only had one lift support so did not need to buy two as the website suggested may be required.

Great fit and good price. No instructions.
I took one star because they did not include instructions, but they probably assumed the part was going to a technician. Fortunately, I have the tools needed to open the spring and install the unit, and my phone to find the Youtube videos to show me the process.

Fits Perfectly
The hood strut was easy to install and fits my Audi S4 perfectly. At a fifth of the cost of any OEM strut this was a no brainer. Just hoping that this replacement will be reliable and will last for a long time.

Great fit, easy install on my 2009 A4 3.2L V6 S-Line
Install took maybe 5 mins. A pair of needle nose pliers worked better than flat-head screw driver to remove retaining clip and install on mounting ball. Exact OEM length replacement, and seems to be a very good replacement. Original OEM lasted 13 years (made in germany), but I would be happy to get 5 years out of this at this price.
