Never again will I use a metal tip!!
I’m fairly new to leather working. And as most, or all, newbies do, we buy the cheap junk first. Then we upgrade later if we can. This ceramic blade swivel knife is my upgrade. I will NEVER go back to a metal tipped blade. I got SOOOO tired of sharpening the blade every time. Ceramic is sharp. And STAYS that way!!! I’ve been using this swivel knife for 10-12 projects now. I have YET to need a sharpen. It’s just as sharp today as it was the day I opened it. I HIGHLY recommend this ceramic swivel knife!!!

It's a Swivel knife not a skiver.
It works great. I like the ceramic cutter heads. The company has it listed as a skiver but we know different lol swivel knife.
