Great little wireless switch
Dislike: the plastic enclosure needed trimming so that the wires can pass through.Like: instructions are clear and easy to follow. I measured the current draw @12VDC in eash of the 3 modes.Standby: 6 mA, Toggle (on): 67 mA. Latching(on): 37 mA.I'm using 3 URGENEX 3.7v Lipo Battery 600mAh with JST Plug 1S Li-Po Battery with X5 Battery Charger for UDI U817 U817A U818A V959 V222 V929 RC Drone Quadcopter 5PCS Aircraft Batteries in series to power this receiver. The receiver needs 10-14 VDC. Using the Latching mode reduces the current draw by half. You then use the key fob (A) button for turn on and the (B) button to turn it off. Range is pretty good (433 or 315 mHz). Using a ATPWONZ 4 Pack Junction Box ABS Plastic Dustproof Waterproof IP65 Universal Electrical Boxes DIY Case Project Enclosure with Fixed Ear Compatible with Electronic Project (3.94 × 2.36 × 0.98 Inches) to mount the battery and receiver outside.

80ft Max distance to work consistently
I had the hardest time figuring this relay transmitter to function properly. The directions were obviously not written by a English Major. The pictures are okay, but what helped most was watching the video and taking a snapshot of their set up and tracing their wires and appling it to my application. The transmitter learning portion didn’t work the first few times, but got it to work finally.I tried extending the range but honestly it’s about 80 feet to transmit consistently. Further out distances remote control doesn’t work as well.

It’s useful
This is exactly what I was looking for. I bought this to add a remote shutoff to my generators. I was able to use this to accomplish this task with relative ease. The remote buttons seem very rubbery and will probably not last long but I’m a maker and I’ll probably just create a new enclosure for it if I need to. The plastic enclosure that came with the relay module seems like it was originally designed for something completely different but that’s not really important. I was able to use the remote at a distance of about 500 feet.

Easy. Almost perfect.
Working modes are easy to program in ten seconds and stay in memory. Functionality exceeds expectations. My only gripe is the boards have no mounting holes and the enclosures are junk. This is amplified by solder contacts coming near the edge of the boards. Basically, they will need to be individually zip tied. The screw terminals are much more secure if you tin the wires before inserting.

Work well, seems to have a decent range. Video is helpful. Case is not useful
Good range and programs like the video shows. The only minor issue is that the case is no good, you cannot get the wires out with it in the case, you would need to cut part of the case away to make it work. There are no mounting holes, and no lip, so adhesive seems to be the only way to mount it. Would buy again.
