Do you guys ever switch to eco mode or lampsaver mode?** A: So i use this projector for about 70 percent movies/tv and 30 percent video games If your room is dark enough, i see no problem leaving it on eco mode. The colors are more true to life and the picture still looks great. Lampsave tries to do dim to less dim but the process is clunky. You can keep in SmartEco for a best of both worlds but the changing brightness can be pretty distracting as well. I do encounter from time to time a bit of flickering in the highlights when in eco mode or lampsave that is separate from the dimming. Usually switching to Normal or SmartEco for a bit helps when it happens but it can be pretty annoying. If you really want a short throw less than 2000 that has decent HDR and awesome gaming abilities, at the moment this really is the only choice though (2021) There is another short throw projector with a better lamp life that does TRUE 4k ( Viewsonic X10-4KE) as apposed to the pixel shifting this has. But the difference is really barely noticeable 4k wise and if you game, the lag on the latter can be pretty frustrating. Also the HDR on the viewsonic is unwatchable in my opinion but the picture is colorful and the package as a whole is decent. Hope this helps! **Q: why the specs show 120" screen max?
