Forever (Marriage Devotional)

We started the devotional this Lent to add more prayer time to our routine, and it has been excellent. It comes with a nice text about a specific topic, followed by a daily challenge that can be a few questions to share or doing something like going to adoration, and it closes with a prayer. We are enjoying how the devotional is leading our prayers and is guiding us on some good conversations. I recommend.

We’re really enjoying this book. The reflections are nice, well written, and easy to follow. It also gives a short prayer and “action step” with each reading. Great for intentional couples conversation.

This is such an uplifting book. We appreciate the way it was written: short chapters with a profound impact. It is funny and witty so it's relatable. Jackie great job teaching Bobby how to put a toilet paper roll on the right way! LOL like many of you our day is busy with work and kids but we are able to make time for Forever and not feel guilty if we have missed a day. BUT if we missed a day we long for the fruits from it- it has provided a time for us to have minidates and smile then change diapers. Thank you Pauline for fulfilling this need and praise God for working through the Angels. If you are marriaged get this book and if you are a few weeks into doing the devotional you are probably ready to purchase a few to gift to married friends and family! Spread the word! <3

I read this as a single young adult and loved it!! Such a great overview and introduction to JP II's Theology of the Body. I thought it was going to be another cliche take on chastity but it wasn't at all. It explained in depth the purpose of marriage, how it relates to God's plan for our lives, and how authentic love should be lived out. I've been a Catholic my whole life, attended catholic high school where we studied TOB and read a large number of catholic dating/relationship books, but this book taught me SO many things I didn't know or hadn't considered before. Things like how marital love mirrors the trinity and how the Mass and the marital act are related. This book substantially increased my understanding of the spiritual implications and truth of marriage. Marriage isn't just the joining of two people in love- this book explains the great depth and purpose carried out in the marriage vocation. Thank you Jackie and Bobby for an excellent book!! If you're on the fence, order a copy now! It's great for anyone, single or married.

So great. Not super long but still providing thought provoking conversation between my husband and me.

Wow this book will cement your marriage into eternity. This is no fluffy, sugar-coating inspiration. This is a truly challenging read for husband and wife. If you take up the challenge, you will be changed for the better forever!

Love this devotional! My husband and I have been married over 13 yrs and we have encountered reflexions that have opened our dialogue about things we had never discussed. It’s such a beautifully written book for couples to strengthen your faith and marriage.

A great start for a couple. Unfortunately it was fairly surface for my husband and I, but we were able to use it as a conversation starter! A good book honestly, just not as deep as we had wished it would be.

My husband and I loved this book. We are newly weds and always looking to grow together on Christ. This book prompted a lot of beautiful conversations and we both enjoyed reading it together before bed every night.

A great Catholic devotional for couples. My husband and I are really enjoying it and love how it gives us teachings on the Theology of the Body in a simple day to day manner. We can only recommend it!
