Really unique mold
This mold is adorable! I feel lucky to have found it, tbh. I'm very new to resin making / casting, but that I can make a tiny treasure chest is just so quaint and cute. This will make the perfect gift as many people can store their small jewelry pieces in this. I'm not sure if the casting is perfect yet as I haven't tried it, but once I do I will update this review.

I like that it’s a kit
Durable flexible, good size and I like that it comes with all the parts and they’re easy to put together

Works with chocolate
These molds worked great with chocolate. I just used Great Value brand melting chocolate wafers and successfully made chocolate treasure chests. I pre-sprayed the molds with olive oil, but I’m not even sure if that was necessary.

No Assembly Instructions
I made my 1st chest a couple weeks ago, but have not yet assembled it. No instructions came with the mold. The lid was very hard to remove from the mold, but I can't figure out how to attach the hinges to the back with UV epoxy, and then the metal closure hook. The mold needs some indented notches on the front to have a stationary, guided point to drill and attach the latch hardware. Because the piece is not flat, the hardware slides around too much to mark up the area to drill so I can attach the hardware. Having big, stiff fingers and hands doesn't help either. Have thought about just attaching hardware with epoxy as the sealant, but I'm all thumbs and would be even less successful.

Great little box. Here's how to hinge.
I liked the idea of making a wish box for my Niece. I made one for me first to check it out. To get the pieces out of the mold, roll the mold down, like turning a sock inside out. Hinges... 1. Put the hinges together. 2. On the box, put a small dot of superglue on the outside of the hinge opening. Both sides. 3. Put the hinges in the openings so the flat side is flush with the box and the round part is poking out the back. 4. On the lid, Put a small dot of superglue on the inside of the hinge openings. 5. Press the lid onto the box hinges. I used painters tape to tightly hold the pieces together while the glue set. Hinges complete! I used a thin piece of painters tape to hold the latch in place. Set it on the box where I wanted it. Marked the spots where the screws go and drilled a tiny divot in the resin. That way, it's easier to attach the screws. The last 2 pics show the final piece. I put coins in for size reference. Go for it! Just have fun with it. Good luck!

Never figured out how to put it together. Useless.
There are no instructions on how to put this together. I never ended up getting it together so I gave this one star. Also, I believe you'll have to drill holes in the resin for the screws. Not sure how well that works. Good luck if you buy this!

Difficult to put and keep together.
VERY hard to put together! I tried 2x and gave up. Used a lot of resin. Followed videos but nothing kept it together.

Another smaller than I expected
It's a lot smaller than I expected and I didn't expect the hinges to have to be made and put on the way they do either. It was a little difficult and it's leaves rhem a little flimsy but it still works and is cute as ever. Totally happy with it.

Great mold, attaching hinges is a bit finicky
Great mold, arrived without any distortion. Attaching the resin hinges so they look perfect is a bit tricky but so worth it for the finished product!

Actvty Resin Treasure Box Mold
The mold work great but the hinge parts and fitting them need to be filed down to fit.
