I got this for my MacBook Air M1 since I needed more ports for work and school—and this little hub seriously does it all. This device is great! I have everything plug in, and it is working flawlessly. I have my extra monitor connected, as well as my mic and charging cord for my iphone. Best part, I am now hardwired into the network, so my speeds are even faster than wifi.

This 8-in-1 Hiearcool USB C Hub functions perfectly and is compatible with my MacBook Air and my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’m amazed that I could use ethernet and USB drives on them, and it provides any ports I’ll ever have to need. The USB C connector on it does seem to charge at a maximum of 100W, and the USB drives have good speeds.I had no issues with the temperature becoming too high, and the sleek design of this product makes it easy to carry around in a backpack or bag. It is straightforward to use, just plug it into a USB C port, and connect the accessory to the hub.However, I do have to give it a 4-star review because of the hub’s subpar quality of the casing. It's somewhat sturdy, but that's about it. The front of the ethernet port’s metal is starting to bend, and once, when I unplugged the ethernet cable, it took the entire casing with it, but it was a simple fix to put it back. Additionally, you have to exercise caution with the hub's USB C cable as it appears that excessive bending can harm it.Overall, this USB C hub works flawlessly but has a few problems in the design.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro that only has Thunderbolt ports. The TYPE-A USB hub that I've been using for years wasn't compatible so I hopped on Amazon to look for a suitable replacement. This Hub is exactly what I was looking for and is great quality! I really like having the ability to plug the HDMI from my monitor directly in to the hub leaving the other ports on my Laptop open for various accessories! The SD card slot is just an added bonus!! I Highly recommend this for someone looking for a quality, yet affordable USB hub for their TYPE-C device!!

I've purchased a few of these now and for the price they are great. They're durable, portable, and easy to use. Anyone that has a use for an adapter should look at this product. Even better that they offer multiple colors.

The media could not be loaded. As shown in the video, I recently started to experience an audio issue. When I plug devices into the hub, the audio goes completely mute and grays out. I can't hear any audio coming from the laptop, whether it be audio while editing in premiere pro, discord audio, etc. I tested this by plugging multiple different devices into the hub. Still had the issue no matter what device was plugged in. One moment the audio is working fine, then suddenly all audio goes out. Then when the hub gets completely unplugged, everything starts working again, so it's definitely the hub causing the issue. I luckily still had another different hub sitting around which I'm now back to using. I also noticed 1 of the 3 usb 3.0 ports is not 3.0. I have a device that can't work unless plugged into a 3.0 usb port. When I do plug it into one of the ports, I get a notice on the laptop saying the device needs to be plugged into a 3.0, so I then have to switch to one of the other ports. The main reason I got this hub over the other options is because this one is advertised as having three 3.0 usb ports. I dealt with the 3.0 issue since I only have one device that requires 3.0, but now with the audio issue too, this hub will be going into the trash.

Loaded up the MacBook and inserted the SD card and doesn’t do a thing, definitely not worth the price now I got a paperweight, to hot out to deal with returning, will order different one that works and not this one, buyer beware you been warned…was trying to view some drone footage, couldn’t even get pictures to load and yes it’s a brand newMacBook as well.UpdateThe seller did reach out and make things right, I would have given a 5 star but the product still didn’t work for me because I chose to not waste any moreTime with this one product and so that’s that, great customer service.Update again,First off I’m new to MacBooks so wasn’t fully informed of some settings I needed to adjust to make this work, and it now works perfectly, I have sne message to seller letting them know that it’s my fault and there product is great. They showed compassion even when it wasn’t there fault, that speaks volumes to me, I will check there store before I buy anything computer related, I do recommend this product and seller, again sorry and thank you.

Works well. I was surprised the Ethernet works. I never used Ethernet that way before.
