Dimplex LECKFORD

A large, nice looking electric fire that adds a visual as well as an actual warmth to our sitting room. We put in the coal option provided (tricky!) and also added some larger chunks to give the overall look an even greater authentic appearance. Very happy so far. One thing, when you call the guarantee number to register the purchase, the agent l spoke to had a 'hard sell' approach and l got dragged into a year of accidental damage cover (Domestic &General, l believe) She asked far too many questions than l was comfortable with, however, as l do not have accidental damage cover on my home insurance, l decided to go with it. Just be aware that this could happen.

This fire is Amazing and we are so happy with it. Looks and feels like a real log burner and fire. Very study. Double fronted so looks great in the fireplace, and the doors can be open as well for a different look and feel. Highly recommend, we also got the Dimplex slate pad to sit it on and it is the perfect choice.

I have to say the fire is great but the remote control didn't last 6 months which there are other remote controls that work with it but I had found a dimplex master remote control that works hopefully all of their fires which works brilliantly and comes with batteries in it which all you have to do is to pull the plastic tag out from it as of for it to work too. The fire is great, looks lovely and does the job! unfortunately the remote control lasted 3 months if that. poor quality considering the price of the actual fire

This stove is a sort of cream. It’s very heavy and sturdy but looks very stylish. The display looks good and the heat is effective and not noisy. Very pleased with it.

Good looking fire but extremely noisy and the flame effect looks awful, it jumps with every clank the fire makes. Tried to contact sellers but no success. Sending it back and won’t be trading again with these people, Very disappointed.

Although the flame effect may not be the most jazzy artificial blue or such like it is quite a nice natural look that seems a good effect for the price. Sturdy and weighty. The two doors close to hide the Dimplex badge and the various front controls Annoying was the remote control battery was dead on arrival. No biggie just a head scratcher until we tried another battery.
