Gap filler
I have a Smittybilt top from 2018 on the TJ I just got. The top is super tight, and the back hatch flap seems to have shrunk up a bit, leaving a large gap in the tailgate. After a day or two with the bar on, I can tightly fit the bar into the clips and remove the gap! And absolute necessity in Florida when we are about to get heavy midday showers.

This is a part I bought
But the amazon review page won't let you see what your reviewing, just a tiny Pic so while i know it's some sort of jeep part, I can't tell what the part is.Anyways, you really need this part. It's probably better than any similar part, made by someone else, maybe. Just look at the quality! I might really love this piece, but im not sure again, not being able to see it (thanks amazon, you screwed me again) why let me review an item without being able to see the item. Curses, foiled by bezos again!So, if you need the part pictured above, and the item description sounds like what you're looking for, then I would highly recommend it. Maybe.

Works perfectly on my 1997 wrangler. Make sure you have the correct bracket type on your jeep. Bestop (I think) uses their own design and wont work with this bar.
