This screen prevents coffee grounds getting on the group head. It fits perfectly in the standard sage portafilter. It is very light, good quality and easy to use. I have used the screen for a few months now and it always performs perfectly.

This is a good piece of kit. Very easy to clean - just rinse under the tap. It is a tight fit but comes out again easily. This has helped dramatically improve my coffee. Wish I knew about the pucks before.

Could be a bit thinner as you may have to reduce the amount of ground coffee to fit it in. A particular problem with the single shot basket as its thickness is a much larger percent of the overall depth with coffee than the double basket. Usually works great with my standard dose of coffee in a double basket.Doesn't seem to mind going in the dishwasher (under an upturned glass).

I did reduced size to 45.5 mm to fit my portable coffee machine. Worked perfectly

If you love your coffee and have a good espresso machine then you tend to over indulge with any ‘extras’ that may enhance your coffee enjoyment. This thing falls into the category of totally unnecessary but nice to have. It is made well enough and does what it says so my review is probably not fair on the seller but honest from the user view. Needless to say it sits at the side of the rather shiny espresso machine looking redundant though interesting.

Was a bit dubious about these filters as I saw them everywhere online so decided to try some out.Pleasantly surprised how well they work, keeping my espresso machine very clean (was such a faff before with all the grounds stuck up in the dispenser!) what a time saver; as well as extracting a very smooth espresso.Perfect, just what I needed. 👌Only downside is getting it back out of portafilter but I usually just let it cool down first, but if making a few coffees need to use something to pry it out while it's hot.

Definitely noticed less channeling through the puck due to poor boiler plate distribution. I've found the only proper way to clean it is with an ultrasonic bath, as the pores are too small to clean by soaking. Fits well in gaggia classic portafilter.

I purchased this to use with a DeLonghi Dedica + non-pressurised 51mm porta filter. Arrived in perfect condition, in a neat little stiff plastic container no damage or nicks in transit (see photos).The Espresso Puck certainly keeps the group head cleaner and the coffee grounds after extraction look more 'compact'. However, I'm not sure if any of these filter pucks diffuse the flow much. If you place it under a running tap, the flow doesn't seem to be modified very much. Also, the added material, must also take up some of the heat from the hot water. I've raised the water temperature to maximum on the Dedica.I like that it keeps the coffee ground compact, which presumably maximises contact of the hot water with the coffee - so (perhaps) better extraction.

I have the normcore and this and cant beat this one work better than the normcore.

It doesn't go low enough on the original breville basket because the later tapers in a bit at the bottom. However, if you use an IMS precision basket, this filter will be perfect. It goes all the way to the edges and slides all the way to the bottom of the IMS basket and the material is good quality.
