Timex Men's Waterbury Classic Chrono 40mm Stainless Steel Quartz Dress Watch with Leather Strap

Love this watch. It seems like it’s an expensive timepiece, that’s affordable! It’s slightly flashy, but sophisticated. I’m wearing it right now. The quality is very nice. Easy to use and set. A light blue light, illuminates the blue watch face. I’ve had it for several weeks now and it hasn’t lost any time. This was a solid purchase. And it’s Timex, how could I go wrong?

The media could not be loaded. First things first, the whole watch is made of stainless steel, I know this because I’m allergic to metals and I have not reacted to it at all.I’ve seen some reviews mentioning the hands not aligning but so far I’ve not had that problem. The chronometer works perfectly but it’s important to note that the big second hand only works with the chronometer, regular seconds are counted by the small second hand close to the 6 position.The watch itself is beautiful and works great as a casual watch or a dress watch.Some comment complained that the dial looks printed on and that is true if you stare at it trying to nitpick things.The case is around 43 mm in diameter which is not too small nor too big, thankfully.Flat mineral glass is not easily scratched unless you’re banging your wrists against stuff.I cannot confirm whether it’s waterproof but that’s only because I don’t want to subject this gorgeous watch to a chlorine pool. It does say that it’s 50 meter water resistant however I’m guessing some of the people that complain didn’t realize they’re not supposed to push the buttons while the watch is wet.Only thing I can honestly complain about is the fact that the leather strap is so smooth that feels like fake leather and will wear out soon, or it might be ultra fine leather and I just can’t tell leather apart. Oh and it’s pretty light, so I know some men will complain about not being big and heavy enough…hahaOverall great watch, my wife complimented me on it and then got extra excited when I explained all the things I liked about it.Thinking about buying one of the nicer Timex to add to my collection now.

Although for my personal taste the dial is small, the watch looks really good for the price. Wears very comfortable and light.

The watch I got looks pretty decent and I get complements on it. Up close, it does have some annoying imperfections on the chronograph second hand that probably shouldn't have past QA. Are they glaring? No, but for something that costs more than $100, it shouldn't have those issues.The date function works well and it seems to keep time just fine over the last couple months I've had it.

At this price point, I can’t imagine getting anything much nicer than this Timex Waterbury chronograph. It’s very easy to read, with the black dial and white hands. None of the negative reviews that I saw out there apply to this particular watch. Mostly they complained about the secondhand not aligning with the marks on the dial and difficulty reading the hands. Neither of these apply to the chronograph series. The sweep secondhand does not operate, like it does on a non-chronograph watch, it only comes to play when you are engaging the chronograph two time events. And some of the color combinations in the other models could possibly be difficult to see the hands against the face. But again, on this specific black face, white hand combination, it could not be easier to see the time at a glance. And the Indiglo feature is just a cherry on top.

I'm a avid fan of Timex watches. This one is a beautiful one, design and colors! But can't keep good track of time. After 2 days it will be 30 minutes slow and so on, so bad that will eventually be behind for days.I've contacted Timex for warranty service and keep get noriced their service department is not taking claims at this time. Big disappointment as I love the looks but can't wear it as it's unreliable.

I look at timex with a great deal of nostalgia. As a kid it was the watch to have. Timex is probably the reason I love watches to this day. However having a lot of watches gives me an opportunity to compare this timex with other comparable priced watches and also more expensive watches. I thought, in buying a Waterbury Collection, I would be getting a watch with a little more attention to detail. What I got was a regular inexpensive Timex with The Waterbury printed on the face. Speaking of the face, I read reviews that said the face looks printed. Not only does it look printed, it doesn't look unlike paper. The case is nice, it appears well made and is polished well. The crown is tiny and borderline unusable, making setting the watch a challenge. The stap is made in India and I'm sure it is bonded leather, but is is soft and attractive. The box was nice, typical of a higher quality watch.In conclusion, this watch is currently selling for $89. It is essential an inexpensive imported watch that is labeled a timex. For that same $89 you can actually get a very nice imported watch from brands like Invicta. For a little more money, maybe $125, you can get a low end Seiko or even a Bulova. And for just a little more money and some good shopping you can get an actual swiss made watch like the Glycine I recently bought new for under $130. If you want a cheap watch buy a cheap watch, if you want a nice watch buy a nice watch, but this one is neither. It's costume jewelry.

First of all, it’s a 40mm. It’s small. It’s meant for smaller wrists so if you have a normal-big wrist, it won’t look as good.Secondly, the dial looks printed on. There is no texture on it. Don’t get me wrong it looks nice, but it just looks like a printed dial with some hands attached on it.Thirdly, it is a bit light. You would think it’s heavier considering the metal bezel.But besides those three points, it’s a great watch. It’s good if you want a nice looking budget watch and band feels really nice and premium. It’s on the lighter side of watches but it still doesn’t feel cheap. The Indiglo feature looks nice and the chronograph buttons feel good. I haven’t tried the water resistance, but at WR 50M, I wouldn’t go swimming with it. Leather bands are better dry than wet. It’s more of an oops, I spilled water on it feature.9/10, not bad Timex.

Fue el primer reloj que compre por Amazon con relación calidad - precio, y les recomiendo comprarlos por Amazon ya que en muchas ocasiones llegan a ser mas baratos que en las Tiendas Departamentales y otras paginas de comercio en linea, ya es cosa de que busquen y comparen precios, solo tengan cuidado porque algunos relojes de Amazon llegan a salir mal, pero este es una joya, muy buen funcionamiento, excelente, el tamaño estandar de un reloj para hombre es de 40 mm y este a pesar de que dicen que es pequeño, para mi, es estandar, sin duda un clasico de que no puede faltar en una coleccion para uso casual, oficina y formal.

The indiglo dial is made of thin cheap white plastic showing all the goosebumps underneath. Its so ugly I could not stand it. It looked like a white foil.
