Outlet to Lamp Socket Adapter, 3-Prong Outlet to Light Socket

Product worked great. No issues until it broke. The switch & the outer base is made of plastic. There are 2 tiny pieces of plastic holding the switch to the base. They broke at the same time & the sping the switch uses to turn it on/off flew out. There is no way to fix it. I bought mine in April 2025. I thought it would last a lot longer. I didn't know it how it was constructed until it broke. Hopefully the company will replace it. If so, I will make another review.

2nd review: I did buy another one - in fact, I bought 2, because I like this device so much I decided to keep a backup to cover a second breakage. I was rewarded with a device that rotates effortlessly when I pull cautiously and apply rotational force simultaneously - which is the procedure the mfg. requires. Apparently my original device was defective or I was reckless. Either way, I am happy now. Good product. 1st review: I really liked this item. It looked good & performed well, but I thought too much effort was required to pull it out to make a position adjustment. I was proven right after 2 months & fewer than a dozen adjustments, when the puny core element snapped. On the attached photo, I marked in red the broken core - that cannot be repaired. I might buy another one of these if I had a need for a permanent position that required one adjustment.

Switch (spring) came off; after usage of more than 1 and half year.

I used these in exterior tankless water heaters to provide a little extra heat via a 40W "incandescent" light bulb. LED bulbs will no provide enough heat. The sockets are simple and small and provide just what I wanted. Very satisfied.

So I purchased this for a particular use, I recently switched from a regular Hollywood style mirror that had Hollywood bulbs all around it, I recently got the RGB hello kitty mirror and I found that the light was not bright enough since I have a window behind my vanity adding a vanity strip light isn’t possible I did not want to do the portable stick on ones on my mirror so I came up with this idea and it works really good I just need to find a different type of clamp surge protector. Luckily there were plugs on the bottom so that the bulbs could stick straight out so it would be like a vanity bathroom that has the strip lights above the mirror if that makes sense I was able to rotate around the bulb fixture so that I could get the light too be straight out as you can see in the photos

When I first bought one I thought it was great. So much so that I bought two more. I've only had them about 3 months and then all of a sudden when I pushed on the on/off switch, the spring behind it broke and the switch completely came off. I tried pushing it back in but couldn't. I thought maybe it was just a faulty part on that one unit. But then it happened again with another one! So now, I have one working night light left. Every time a push the on/off switch on it I'm afraid the spring behind it will also break and come clean off just like on the other two. It's really a shame because I really liked these but they're obviously not made well.

I put two of these in my furnace room, as it only had one dim bulb that was not installed in the most ideal location. These fit in two separate duplex receptacles (with the extenders) and now light up the entire room. A cheap fix, instead wiring in a new lamp socket and junction box.

They're easy to position in 4 different angles. The on/off switch allows me to use it regularly to keep the emergency bulb ready. I chose the bathroom and there it'll be used regularly and be charged if you need in power outage if you get those bulbs. It's sturdy and can fit in any socket. I'm very pleased with it and glad I got it. Now bulbs are in lamps and this is in the bathroom. Covered in a power outage. Awesome.
