Handy saw for light pruning and camping
I have a large lot, and I have gone through a bunch of pruning saws, some good, some bad. This tool is light, with a thin but tough blade. It cuts surprisingly well. The deeper notches do serve a purpose by keeping the cut clean, although it can bind on little branches if you are too heavy-handed. Let the saw do most of the work.Locking mechanism is handy, and the hinge allows the blade to be opened one-handed. It's nice to be able to deploy a saw without needing a sheath or having to loosen a wing nut, and locking in either position keeps it from inadvertently folding. The saw is sturdy enough for occasional use, gardening, and its light weight and reasonable length make it ideal as a camping saw although might be a bit large for ultralight backpackers. My only issues with the product are that the operator button is pretty large and it can come open if you bump it, but the reverse didn't seem to be an issue. The other is potential longevity, but I have acreage, trees, vines, and I ask a lot of my tools. My wife likes it for small stuff and trimming things back going into winter. It will probably go with me to trim back vines and brush around my established paths.

Good Pruning Saw 👩🌾
I ordered this pruning saw for small limbs and new growth pruning, such as crepe myrtle and other smaller tree limbs. It seems to be a good saw for these tasks. I like the switch lock feature, and wish my other saws had one. This pruning saw is easy to use since it is lightweight compared to my other two handheld pruning saws. The blade is amazingly strong and cuts really well. I’ll know more in February during pruning time and will check back in should I discover any issues.

Good value light duty pruning saw
TL;DR version: Good light duty saw for the price. Don't let the initial flimsy feeling throw you. Also, if you work in landscaping or another job where this tool will be used for hours a day, stop reading and go find a higher quality tool.First impression was that it was sort of flimsy, but just a couple of uses made me change my mind. Here's why.I unfolded the blade, which took a couple of seconds, but only a couple of seconds to figure out. The blade is held onto the handle with a screw and nut (which maybe means the blade is replaceable?). The blade seemed thin and there was a lot of play in it, i.e. I could bend and jiggle the blade around a bit. I checked the tightness of the screw holding the blade on and found it secure.I set out to do some cutting, starting with a 1 inch diameter branch. Cutting was pretty easy. I moved on to some smaller branches and it only took a couple of strokes of the saw to cut through them. Getting the cut started is a little challenging, but once started, cutting is fast. I noticed a couple of teeth got slightly bent. But I'm going to compare this to my pruning bow saw. It's easy to bend teeth on that saw too. That blade is also thin and flexible. This folding saw is easier and more convenient to use than my bow saw.

Great for small jobs around the yard
I didn't have huge expectations for this little saw, but it ended up being perfect for light yard work.We took this tree down (with an axe, not the saw) to make room for the others and needed to remove the branches. This saw took care of them all without a problem. The handle feels good, though the connection from the handle to blade has a bit of flex as does the blade itself. Not unexpected for the thin steel. As long as you keep it straight you'll be able to cut anything from 1/2 inch to 2 inches just fine.Smaller than 1/2 you could run into snags. The notches cut into the blade are great for keeping it sawdust free and cutting well, but being approximately 1/4 inch themselves tiny branches will hang in them and you'll stop cutting instantly. This causes the blade to flex and could damage something.Opening the blade requires pushing the release and pulling it out, you won't be able to open it with a single hand. This release also locks the blade into place and doesn't seem like it will let go.When you are putting the blade away, hold this release lever again and close the blade back into the handle. It does take some slight alignment as the flex of the connector mentioned above means it doesn't just fall back into the handle. If this saw was lost, I'd buy another!

Sharp & effective with safety features
Amazon Vine Review - Lengon 10-inch Handheld Pruning Tree SawI needed a tree pruning saw to remove branches that died during this summer’s drought and this looked like it would work – it did indeed. When I received the saw the pivot bolt was loose – just a quick twist from a screw driver solved that (but I would have expected it to have been checked before packaging). But once tightened it worked like a charm. I cut through a number of branches up to about a 3-inch diameter very quickly – the saw is sharp and does its job. I really like the locking mechanism that locks the blade both in the closed and open positions – so no accidents. The blade is long enough to allow a reasonably long sawing stroke. The saw has a rubbery grip that works very well – even with sweaty hands & the curved back end makes it even more secure in your hand. I will definitely take this on my next camping trip for gathering dead wood for the fire. Other than the initial quality control issue this saw works great & I would recommend it.

Nice and light, very sharp
I like the construction. The locking feature isn’t as tight as I would like it to be. There is an a lot of set in the sauce so you just have to be mindful of how you’re cutting a branch.
