Not sure what's up with these.
Light blinking every few minutes. While lights are on, they would blink every few minutes. I put the my old lights back on, didn't have any issues. Seller reached out to me, promised to replace bulbs. Will update as soon as possible. Update- the seller did replace the bulbs and the new bulbs worked wonderfully. In fact I just upgraded them to 8000k version for brighter lights. Thanks Seller.

Great product, amazing price!
The passenger side headlight went out on my 2008 Prius and I decided I was going to replaced it myself. While looking at the auto stores around me, I quickly discovered just how expensive HID bulbs can be. Luckily, I looked on amazon because they are so much cheaper here. The bulbs came intact and as described. I then had to go on the adventure of replacing the bulb, which any Prius owner knows isnโt the easiest task. I decided to change both sides since I had 2 bulbs anyway. The new bulbs were identical to the ones I took out and once I got to the headlight compartment, went in smoothly. I made sure to use gloves while handling the bulbs since the oils on your hands can mess them up. I will update if there are any problems with them. Itโs been a week and they seem to be working just fine.

2007 Toyota Prius; 22 months until died with dead ballast
2007 Toyota Prius, replaced in April 2017 but wanted to make sure they lasted before reviewing them. Dealer wanted about $1000; Local shop wanted about $500; I paid a mechanic to come to my place and put these in for $35, so cost of about $70. Dealer and local shop said the bumper had to be removed but I found YouTube vids that showed it didn't. It didn't. The mechanic got one in crooked but that was fixed quickly. The connector came loose after a month on one. I pushed the two pieces back together. I like the blue color of the light as it makes it easier to see the road at night when there are yellowish street lights etc. One of these has drifted from the blue of the other one to a more pure white, but other than that these are working just fine. The original factory HID lights lasted 10 years but dimmed and began to click off while driving, required me to turn the lights off and back on. Typical death mode of HID lights. The arc gradually wears away the two wires until the arc has to jump too far to allow a stable arc. If they last two years and I replace them for under $100 each time, then they will cost less than the dealer or repair shop fix. UPDATE: February 2019 the driver's side headlight died suddenly. I had noticed over the past year that the light from this bulb had changed from the blueish of the right side one, to a more yellowish color. Then it just wouldn't turn on. The other is still blue and working. Encapsulated arc or high intensity discharge or HID bulbs are not a good idea it seems. Cheap but not long lasting, though the originals went 7 years, they were rather dim the whole time. Going to brighter seems to shorten the life. Marked down from 5 stars to 3. UPDATE: March 2019. So it might have been the bulb but the ballast is bad. Bulb dying could have caused it but whatever the reason, the bulb is dead and the ballast also. Switched the good one to the driver's side and it doesn't work there. I had a local repair shop test and the ballast is malfunctioning. So moved it back to 4 stars, but not 5 because I'm not sure who's problem it was and the light was getting yellow tinted compared to the other one.

looks great on car
im happy with that purchase. finnaly I can see normally at night. it fits like an oem part, but don't be fooled installation itself is really hard had to remove bumper it doesnt have to anything with light bulb itself but installation procces can be challenging.

Lasted 2 months (and a generous guess of 20 hours of actual use) before one bulb failed.
Price was great, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Order August 12, 2022 and at the best generous guess of 20 hours of actual use one of the bulbs failed on October 19, 2022. Initially ordered them because the factory passenger side bulb on my 2008 Toyota Avalon was starting to fail. Those factory bulbs were 14 years old... These didn't even last 14 weeks. In case anyone was wondering the driver side bulb was the one that failed, not the passenger side. So it's not a bad ballast.

Works great
Very bright better than the stock lights. Also make sure you get these because their are some lights that aren't compatible and will turn off on you after 15 minutes or less, of them being on.

For 6000K color temp, order the 8000K version!
Update: after a few overnight driving trips, the brightness and bulbs' color temp are holding up, Time to order more sets before they are gone! I loved HYB bulbs but have received a few sets of 6000K color temp bulbs with very inconsistent color temp. The "old" 6000K D4R bulbs I ordered from HYB a year ago have brighter and whiter light output then those I've ordered recently. After those disappointed recent orders I decided to give the 8000K version a try. After the install I found them to have color temp right around 6000K but appeared to be very dim. I ended up took them out and left a "1 star" review... To make the story short, while comparing the light output of several D4R/D4S bulbs later, I found out after about 30min or so "burn-in" time, HYB 8000K bulbs became much brighter and the color of the light output is a pleasant daylight white color without blue/green tint, what a surprise! I cancelled my return request and I am ready to order more sets as spares!!!
