So good 💞
As a mom, quality sleep really matters to me 🤍 I’ve been using the Machine Washable Silk Quilt in Misty Blue from @thecottonandsilk and it truly feels different. It’s lightweight, breathable, and incredibly soft against the skin — no overheating, just calm, comfortable rest. I love that it’s made from natural materials and still easy to care for (yes, it’s machine washable!). The misty blue shade also gives my bedroom such a serene, clean look. Highly recommend if you value comfort and thoughtful design ✨

Light and very warm. Great.
I bought this silk quilt for my daughter because her dorm gets extremely warm in winter—the central heating works a little too well. This turned out to be the perfect blanket for her. It’s lightweight and breathable, so it doesn’t trap excess heat, yet still feels comfortable. The quality is excellent: a soft cotton shell, silk filling, and very neat, durable stitching. I highly recommend it for hot sleepers or warm bedrooms. Just note that the brand offers multiple thickness options, so be sure to choose the one that best matches your preferred sleeping temperature.

Very nice blanket! Soft, lightweight, and pleasant to the touch. I love that it's 100%coton shell and silk filling. It arrived nicely packaged. I'm very happy with this purchase😊

Premium quality, OEKO-TEX certified
This is a premium silk (grade 6A silk) comforter, and it is OEKO-TEX certified, free of harmful level of toxic substances. These are the most important things I look at first when I buy comforter. I have been using silk comforter for 10 years by now. Silk comforter regulates the temperature quite well. I use the same silk comforter from the hot summer to the icy cold winter (indoor temperature between 65F and 75F). The cotton cover of the silk content of the comforter feels somewhat silky in touch. The comforter is soft and light. It is not puffy like down comforter. I am impressed by the high quality of sewing craftsmanship too. The design is simple and elegant. Decorative small heart-shapes are sewn on the comforter to keep the silk in place. There is a hidden small zipper to let you open the comforter to take a peek of the high quality silk inside. Unfortunately, this comforter is too thin for me in the winter in northern states. Before you order, please read the description carefully and pay attention to the amount of silk in the comforter. I returned the comforter and let the seller know that I wish they offer custom-made thicker comforter. To my surprise, this seller did follow up with me. She made my wish come true! This seller is very nice and helpful. Very pleasant to work with. She has a good knowledge of silk quality and her silk products. A 5-star seller!

The Ultimate All-Season Layer
We were first introduced to this brand’s comforter through a friend and loved it, so I purchased an additional one to layer for extra warmth during the Bay Area winter. It works perfectly, especially given how much the weather fluctuates lately—temperatures can easily swing by 10°F from one day to the next. The layering flexibility is a big plus. When it’s warmer, we simply remove one insert from the duvet cover and add it back when it gets cold. The comforter has eight corner and side loops, which secure neatly to the duvet cover (we also bought their cotton duvet cover set). Because of this, the insert stays in place, doesn’t bunch up, and keeps the bed looking tidy. The insert itself is very soft and lightweight—not bulky—but still provides impressive warmth for its thickness. It also doesn’t trap heat the way some other materials do. Overall, it’s comfortable, practical, and well-designed. Highly recommend.

Feels lovely
A bit warmer that I was hoping for in a summer blanket, but the cover feels so soft and wonderful, it is still 5 stars! The weight is light, and the color is soothing.

Nice, but..
This is a decent duvet insert. The quality is certainly nice, but not over 200 dollars nice. Currently it is showing as 200 and thirty nine dollars. I would say that is a bit steep for what you're getting here. Of course value is a personal thing and someone else may think it is worth it, or they're not familiar with better bedding and pricing, many reasons for varying opinions and this is only mine. The blanket is not weighted and doesn't say anywhere that it is weighted. I'm not sure why other reviews mention that it is weighted, unless the seller merged reviews from a different blanket, which sellers often do - so be on the lookout for that when researching any item on Amazon. Also, don't be fooled by the word "silk" in the product info. There really isn't any silk here that will make a difference in anything, so that is very misleading. And then you have all the specific "instructions" included in the package which state: 1) Use a duvet cover. 2) Dry clean, hand wash, or wipe clean. 3) Air dry in indirect sunlight; do not exceed 1 hour under direct sunlight. 4) Do not bleach and do not iron. 5) Do not wring it out. 6) Do not tumble it dry (and why/how could you if you're not supposed to get it wet, you're supposed to dry clean. Surely no one is handwriting this huge thing, either!!) 7) Do not place heavy items on a folded mulberry silk quilt when in storage. 8) Do not store it in a vacuum, as it will lose the softness after compression (I think they mean don't store it in one of those bags where you suction all the air out with a vacuum) Cotton isn't silk. It is cotton. Silk is a fiber just like cotton is a fiber, or any other type of thread. Cotton can't be silk, and silk can't be Cotton. So this is all very misleading at a high price point unless you don't mind the silk only being inside the duvet and not actually benefiting you or your skin or your senses. Reading the tags on the blanket, it says- "outer shell fabric: 100% cotton" and "duvet filling: Long strand mulberry silk." So they're saying the filling of the duvet is silk. No silk actually ever touches your body with this blanket. And the outside of it feels like plain old cotton, so it is important to know what you're getting here. If I'm paying for silk, I wanna see it and feel it. That is the point - T to feel that luxurious feel of silk on your skin, etc. Not to see it in wadded up mess inside a peephole as with this blanket. The blanket is very thin overall. It is not a typical duvet or poofy by any means. It lays flat on your bed and is thinner than any comforter or duvet I've ever seen. I can't even think of a duvet cover that wouldn't simply look pathetic and loose on this very thin blanket. When you want a duvet insert, this is not what you want. You want to fill the duvet cover out a little and this won't do it. It is more suited to use as is, but that is nearly impossible since you can hardly wash it. The duvet is not tufted or stitched enough to keep the filling in place. There are a few hearts or leaf pattern (I'm not sure which they're supposed to be) stitched in some places, but not nearly enough to keep the filling in place and not bunch up. There is a small zippered section that you can open and see right inside to the filling and feel it. You can all see and feel how it is just in there with no way to keep it from bunching up and wadding up in there. Absolutely you cannot wash in the washer because all the filling is going to end up in a wad somewhere inside the duvet. My opinion is that this duvet is going to be wrecked after just minimal practical use. You have to be able to see and feel the innards via that little zippered section in order to understand. It is like if you took a ball of hair and tried to spread it out as flat as possible and then put it in a bag and tried to use it as a blanket. The hair isn't going to stay in place in there unless it is tacked down somehow, all over, and that isn't the case here. There isn't enough tacking down to keep it secure and in good shape. I get the feeling this blanket is like a mash up of excess materials and supplies and they put it altogether just to make use of it, and they came up with this duvet. Maybe I just completely misunderstand the point of it, but it isn't worth it. Paying for silk products is worth it for sure, and I have other silk bedding products, but this one is just not worth it, as far as i can tell. You could absolutely find another duvet at a much better price and much easier care vs the HASSLE of this one which is stuffed with matted up supposed silk fibers. Why would you want to pay for a "silk" product when you dont even get to experience the silk, or feel it, or anything?? That is just a waste of money. The silk in this duvet is actually pointless because you actually have no indication that the silk is even there, since it is inside and your dont get to feel it on you. It doesn't benefit you. Doesn't change the feel of the duvet. Nothing. It could be filled with grass clippings or dog hair all spread out and it would make no difference and have the same end result. Know what I'm saying? I feel like they're trying to cash in on a "silk" product, but really it's all trickery because the silk that is there, you don't even get to experience, but you're paying a premium for it. You can actually experience the same exact weight and feel of this duvet at a much lower price point and you'll actually be able to wash it and dry it too, by choosing one that isn't trying to "sell you" on the silk aspect. Overall quality as far as stitching etc seems ok, but absolutely it is just overpriced trickery.

The Best Cooling Blanket out of 30+ brands
Edit - it washes beautifully! I used laundry detergent made for silk and washed on delicate cold then low heat on dryer until dry. No shifting of batting, not even a loose thread. If you sleep hot you should consider this one as a serious contender Words can’t describe how seriously I take my blankets. I have the need to have one over me at all times. Im also extremely hot-natured. This makes finding the right blankets a challenge. I have an embarrassing amt of blankets i no longer use. The blanket I keep using is a cotton baby blanket purchased on Amazon more than 7 yrs ago. it’s the only blanket I use for sleep and for sitting around the house because it actually cools me off when I get under it.. I also love bamboo and tencel and the majority of my sheets are made of those fabrics. The baby blanket is amazing now that it’s older but it’s getting holes in it (which might actually help keep me cool IDK). I attempted to order another and it felt different. I reached out to the seller and was told they can’t get the same quality cotton as they did 7 yrs ago. I have tried washing this blanket over 100 times and it just is not getting better which makes me think it’s not 100% natural. So I began a long and painful process of finding a new blanket (although I think that’s been a lifetime pursuit). Over the last six months I’ve tried over 30 blankets at prices ranging from $30 - $350. Basically if it claims to keep you cool and is sold on Amazon, theres a decent chance I’ve tried it. i’m partial to natural fabrics like bamboo, tencel, cotton but have also tried several of these new fabrics that have the q-max ratings & “cooling technology” which have some blend of nylon, spandex, poly ,& proprietary fabrics. Some of these blankets felt very cold to the touch but after an hour or so I found myself needing air. I’ve purchased several “summer” bamboo blankets where the filling as well as the shell were made of 100% bamboo. One was over $300 for their smallest size and felt AMAZING but ultimately didn’t keep me as cool as my baby blanket. And I’ve tried using no cover as well as a tencel/bamboo cover in many cases. I’ve also tried some silk blankets (although I have not tried any that cost over $300 so I can’t speak to the ultra ultra premium ones). Suffice to say I have done my due diligence. This baby-blue colored blanket made by (and of) Cotton and Silk (the “Tussah silk” variety) was the clear winner out of all of them. This blanket immediately piqued my curiosity once I touched it. I knew then I might have a winner. Then I slept with it that night. Not once did I throw it off or retrieve the baby blanket. It was PERFECT. So perfect I held off on writing this review until I could order another bc I didn’t want them to run out. For some reason the blue color was cheaper than the white so I bought both in blue. Now, when this blanket needs replacing, I don’t have to go through this trial and error (and repackaging, driving to UPS, waiting in lines for the returns) process. The Tussah blankets claim to be machine washable. I can’t have a blanket that’s dry clean only, I plan to keep this for the next 7 years +( in hopes it gets better with each wash). I’ve not washed mine yet so I can’t speak to that process. But I’ve prepared myself for it to not go well. I am ok with the fact that it may warp, shrink, get lumpy, or lose stitches/thread. This blanket is worth it to me bc I choose comfort over looks every time. Plus i have a backup. Thank you for making such a wonderful product! I am sincerely impressed. I’ll be sure to update review after I washed it and report back on how it did.

BEST BLANKET for a perfect sleep all night
I recently purchased new blanket called "Cotton & Silk Luxury Silk-Filling Duvet Insert/Comforter/Blanket," and it really changed how I sleep. This blanket is awesome and deserves five stars for a few good reasons. Works for Every Season: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This blanket isn't kidding when it says it's good for all seasons. Whether it's freezing in winter or super hot in summer, this blanket always makes things just right. The silk inside keeps me warm when it's cold and magically keeps me cool without making me sweat on hot summer nights. Feels Super Fancy: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This blanket is a mix of cotton and silk, and it's so fancy. It's super soft and feels amazing. You can tell it's really good quality as soon as you use it. The King Size is big and looks really nice on our bed, making it feel like a fancy hotel. Breathes Well: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This blanket is a game-changer because it lets air through. I usually get hot at night, but with this blanket, I don't move around as much because I'm not too hot. It really does what it says and lets me sleep comfortably without waking up. Hugs Your Body: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When it says it "naturally body-hugs," it's not just fancy talk. This blanket somehow fits to your body. It feels like a warm hug, especially after a long, tough day. To sum it up, the "Cotton & Silk Luxury Silk-Filling Duvet Insert/Comforter/Blanket" is better than I expected. It's an amazing blanket that works all year round. It's fancy, lets air through, and feels like a hug. If you want better sleep, get this blanket. I'm really happy with it, and I think others will be too. Sleep has never been this nice and relaxing. Love the soft feel, plush comfort, white linen/silk look and is classy all the way. I LOVE IT. Would happily RECOMMEND this to family and friends.

Polyester Blanket
I was delighted to find this washable cotton blanket with a thin layer of silk, as my husband prefers a very thin, light blanket, something very difficult to find. I have a similar blanket from another company, which washes beautifully and is far lighter than even a summer-weight duvet, so I was expecting something similar. Most of my bedding is mulberry silk, so I know my way around silk products. When I received the Twin XL, I was shocked to find it is nothing like either the description or the photos, except for the color. This is an unlabeled, shiny, slippery polyester shell with a thick, stiff polyester fill. It is also poorly sewn. I am returning it with the deepest disappointment tinged with anger because the company expects me to pay return postage for their falsely advertised item.
