Roomy and versatile
I’ve taken this backpack on two trips and it’s worked out great. There is room for a lot inside, though I recommend something like packing cubes to help with organizing the contents. There are handy straps inside for keeping stuff in place, and I like that one can adjust the straps a lot including putting them away entirely for packing away into a car or airplane. Super comfy to wear, though I’m probably borderline fat for the belly strap (a reminder to walk more and eat less on travels perhaps - I’m larger than most folks around the waist).I had one incident where one of the strap pieces came off while putting into an overhead bin, but I saw it happen and retrieved it. I’m not sure how to prevent this other than to be careful that straps don’t snag in that situation. Otherwise, for this price, a fabulous backpack that replaced two separate carryon pieces (courier bag and a cpap bag).TL;DR It’s a great backpack and inexpensive, felt secure out in public and never felt like stuff would get damaged or ruined or lost while out and about.

Great backpack for travelling
I needed a backpack for a 2-week vacation to Italy since i didn't want to drag suitcases on stone streets and upstairs. My wife was extremely leery of using a backpack but, in the end, decided to try it.The backpack had plenty of room, seemed well made and was comfortable on the back. It easily fit into the overhead luggage bins. The backpack with a carry on allowed us to avoid waiting for luggage at the airport carousal and eliminated the fear on our luggage being lost. Travel through Italy was a breeze whether by walking or by train.Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase!

Perfect carry on pack
This is a fantastic travel pack. I haven't used the laptop sleeve inside, but the rest of the features are really well made. The straps zipping inside the back is helpful at keeping things together and organized. It carries enough for at least 4 full sets of clothes, and can be cinched down tight. This is the 4th Osprey pack I've owned, and all have been well made/show no signs of deterioration. I would definitely recommend this travel pack.

Comfortable Efficient Pack
I just took this pack on a three week trip through Europe. What sets it apart is the internal frame/back support. I walked for miles and it fit my back like a glove. You lose a little space in comparison with bags without the support but if you intend on walking with it for anything more than the cab to the plane, I would highly recommend this bag versus comparables.

It's a pretty good bag, but a bit on the heavy side.
The bar is pretty neat and customer service when contacting Osprey was stellar. I'm a fat dude and the included straps weren't long enough to go around my wait/belly. I contacted Osprey and they sent me extenders free of charge. I'm a fan of the brand for that alone. Two things prevent me from giving it 5 stars. The bag along is a bit on the heavy side. The materials are strong and sturdy and maybe that's the reason the bag feels a bit heavy. The shoulder straps after a while started to dig into me. I took it on vacation as a carry on and walking through the airport I would take it off whenever we were waiting in a line and placed it on the floor. The second reason is the lack of compartments. When I use a carry on for travel it contains 1 change of clothes, 1 tablet, sweater, battery packs for charging along with cables, contact lenses and a water bottle. The bag has a large main compartment that will accommodate a lot, but only 2 compartments; the main one and a small mesh compartment that rests on the opposite side of the main compartment on the flap the open and closes the bag. It does have a great feature where you can tuck away the shoulder and wasit straps for easy storage in the aircraft overhead bins.

Great for people with mobility issues
I bought this 40 L bag specifically for trips around a week long. As someone with mobility issue (Left side hemiplegia) I find wheeled bags impossible to use when walking with a cane. This bag is extremely comfortable and with adjustments to modify strap locations, load lifters to change weight distribution, and wide hip belts that offer great support I am able adjust this to minimize my disability. I have the original Farpoint 70L and have to say the updates have made this bag even more versatile and capable. The only downside is the zippers can be a little tough to get started one handed but as long as I can get someone to assist it works like a charm. Overall a great bag, especially at this price point.

Just what I was looking for.
When it comes to a significant purchase I do my research. Looked at many brands and models, just couldn’t find something that fit my needs well enough. Looking for a one bag travel solution so needed something that will fit in an overhead bin. Just enough compartments, quality construction, and more than $100 less than my 2nd choice. Very comfortable, adjustable enough to get the right fit. Is it right for you? No idea, but if my needs suddenly changed I’d be looking at other Osprey models before looking at other brands.

Nice backpack.
Lots of room and heavy duty. Really no complaints. Zippers seem really good and is the stitching. It’s just a little on the pricey side.
