Used this as an alternative to the carpet gripper that covers the underside of your rug. This is so much better. Has held the rug in place for 3 weeks and hasn’t budged. I only used tape at both ends, as opposed to all of the outer edges. Only slight downer is storing it, because the roll has sticky edges.

Good quality and easy to cut. Adhesive effective. Had a few minor issues trying to get backing off

It did exactly as promised. No further curling corners! It is very strong and leaves no residue. Flat rug at last.

This tape is easy to apply and works perfectly to secure a rug to a fitted carpet!! For smaller rugs, cover the entire perimeter to avoid any bunching!

Giving it 3 stars, because it probably works very well for carpets on hardwood floors but i do not recommend it for rugs on a carpet. We have a standard medium pile carpet and wanted to secure our rug down. It was easy to apply and held the rug in place with a VERY strong adhesive sticky side of the tape, however the rug moved slightly and i wanted to reposition it and straighten it out. Only to find that the tape was so strong it had attached itself to the carpet and pulling it off meant pulling out the fibres of the carpet too! Ive managed to remove it, but im not reapplying it, dont want to risk damaging the carpet further.

Not as wide as the picture but effective. Only time will tell if it lasts, pleased so far.

I ordered the 12 yard roll to use on my laundry room rug since it did not come with any slide resistance backing. I made sure to wash the tile floor prior to laying down the tape and rug. It's been about a week and so far the rug has not moved a touch. I did have to use a razor blade to cut through the tape, but with doing so it cut easily. Applied the tape in various areas on the back of my rug and laid it down. The tape is very sticky, but when initially laying down the rug I didn't press down on the rug in any areas and was still able to lift and re align my rug on the tile floor to get it where I wanted it. Once I did, I just walked on the rug in all areas with the tape and it's holding firm. I will definitely use the remainder of the roll for other rugs through out our house. I am unsure what the removal of the tape is like, but if you want your rug to stay where it's at this does the job.

Extremely sticky. Works well with all carpets. The cut is good and what you would expect for the level of stickiness. Easy to use and nice sized roll for the money.

Read reviews and purchased three rolls to adhere wood stairs treads (wool and sisal). The dogs and humans are racing up and down the stairs frequently and the runners have not moved. Tape easy to use and strong so ordered another roll to affix several wool area rugs to other rooms with wood flooring. The other box store tape had already separated from the rugs so they were moving in every direction. Highly recommend. Hope the tape lasts as long as I do.

I have tried so many different rug tapes/sticky pads/just about everything for my area rugs and nothing would keep them down. Bought this after struggling to keep anything in place with 3 cats and two German Shepherds running through the house. It's been a miracle - NOTHING moves. My roommate even used it to tape down her queen size bed that was being pushed around by the dogs and it has not budged since. I have used it on outdoor rugs on my porch and cement patio and it works wonders. It also comes off the hardwood floors easily and doesn't leave residue. The only downside is that it can be kind of hard to get the tape back off at first, but I got the hang of it after about half a rug's worth of effort.

I needed to adhere a small strip of carpet that is in a high traffic area of the home. The carpet previously came loose from the ordinary carpet tape used before this. Now, that carpet is so secure that I never worry about it coming loose again!
