🔧 Inspect with Ease, Master Your Craft!
The Magnetic Base Inspection Mirror features a 3.35-inch diameter for clear reflections and adjustable viewing angles via two universal joints. Its powerful magnetic base allows for quick and easy mounting on ferrous surfaces, making it an essential tool for engineers and machinists inspecting hard-to-reach areas in various applications, including welding, engine maintenance, and network installations.

It has a magnet to hold it

Worth its weight in gold
If you need when brazing in a cramped space I can’t imagine something more useful. In the hvac trade blind brazing backside of joints made wayyyy easier with this i have dropped solder on it and it didn’t explode so great in my book

Works great for what I intended the purpose to be. Magnet holds in place well as needed, recommend to technicians for the hard to see places during braze work.

Good size & price.
The unit is a good size. The price was good. There are 2 issues. 1 the magnet and bass need to be a bit stronger and base a bit bigger. If you use it with magnet as a side mount it does not hold up.

Good articulation and movement. Edges of the frame aren't sealed to the mirror though, in a wet environment it will eventually be a problem.

Very handy for vehicle maintenance, especially spark plugs in a FWD V-6
I have a Nissan Altima with the 3.5 VQ V-6 engine and getting to the right hand cylinder bank (next the the firewall) is problematic and normally requires removal of the cowling and upper intake manifold. To do so requires lots of fiddling with bolts and hose connectors in blind conditions. This mirror sticks to the steel of the firewall and with some creative flashlight aiming, I am able to SEE the EGR connector, various vacuum lines, and some of the bolts. This is MUCH better than groping blindly with long handled tools. You have to be cognizant of the reversing aspect of a mirror but being able to see the part being worked on is golden. I've used mirrors before but they were always handheld or jury-rigged with tape. The magnet on this one is simple genius. I like it.

Does the job
As a machinist, this has been pretty handy. The magnet is fairly strong (especially on iron castings), and has helped a lot with keeping an eye on odd setups and indicating parts.
