The Desktop CNC I was looking for
1: Super easy to set up! Not sure about other reviews but the instructions were super easy to follow. Even the wiring for the spindle was easy.2: Comes with everything you need and want to start with... Limit switches, Z-probe, 500W SPINDLE. Learn from my mistake buying a cheaper machine and upgrading it to match this machine will cost about 300 USD more.3: WATCH YOUTUBE videos on how to calibrate your machine. Be patient and take the time to make sure it is dialed in.4: Cuts Aluminum right out of the box.5: Worth the money!

I don't want to hate it
This is a tough review to write. There's no middle ground with the features of this CNC. It's either really good or abysmal. If you've got an hour before you have to leave for a get together at your in-laws, this cnc is not for you. If you've never put together a cnc or a 3D printer, this project is not for you. If you have a cluttered assembly space, this is not for you.If you have a campaign ribbon for all of the ender 3 pros that you've assembled, this won't be difficult.Packaging was excellent.Parts quality was superb. The only gripe I might throw about the parts is that some of the tapping wasn't the best, but it was still workable. These parts are beautiful. No scratches, no oily or greasy residue. It's a beautiful machine when assembled. But I can only say nice things about the parts that were included. Because. There were no M4 slide nuts. At all. And the package that was supposed to hold a couple of M4 x 16 screws, well, one of the screws met that description, but the other was far shorter. Did you know that M4 x 16 screws seem to sell out at Lowes? At Home Depot as well. I was lucky enough to find a package that had been left in the wrong bin. I ordered the nuts on Amazon and waited. The assembly instructions (paper manual, nothing on the USB) start out okay. They skip a few things, like which position the lead screw is supposed to be in a couple parts that have two places that will work. That might be because the instructions show a different part completely. From there, the instructions have a nodding acquaintance with reality. Until they end. But there are still lots of parts in the box.So, go to youtube and look up lunyee 3018 plus. They have a video that shows you how to connect the power supply to the power cable. They also show you how to connect the spindle wires with this connector THAT DOES NOT STAY CONNECTED, not that I'm bitter or anything. note to self, add day-drinking to the this project might be for you list.So. Now I'm beyond the land of instructions, paper, youtube or otherwise. At this point, I'm guessing that "gasket" means washer. I'm looking at the emergency stop button and the off-line controllers and the limit switches. It's easy to look at them because they're all together still in the box. With no instructions.I most certainly did not put this cnc together correctly. There are plenty of parts left over. One of the stepper cables was bad. Amazon wants you to pack up the whole CNC and send it back to get the cable. I stole a long cable from a 3d print project. *shrug*Some other gripes... There's no place to mount the offline controller that I can find. There's also no good start up instructions. I was hung up on installing the driver (doesn't install) but I didn't need to. Candle was able to find the CNC without it. There are no instructions on attaching the collet, etc. to the spindle and I haven't done so yet. I'm going to watch other 3018s on youtube and hopefully figure out how to do this. No instructions on using the z probe. There's an extra cord--3 wire. I'm sure I'll eventually find out what it is for. *shrug*Some notes that might help if you do buy.Use the picture of the motherboard on the cnc ad on Amazon. You can zoom in and see where the limit switches plug in. There's teeny tiny writing below the ports. There are 6 limit switches. I was expecting 3. They are X+, X-, Y+, Y-, Z+, Z- .Just look for the limit switch holes. Think about the orientation of the switch. I would do the z limit switches before mounting the spindle.Use your own tools. The included are crap.Like I said, tough review. The CNC is a thing of beauty--pretty powder coat, and decent parts. But incomplete kit and lack of good instructions would probably doom chances of success for a few of us.

saying the instructions leave something to be desired is an understatement
so this cnc machine looks as advertised and fresh out of the box is a pretty sturdy device for the price usually id do a review on something like this after ive used it a few times but the Instructions that came with this device are so horrible that I don’t know that I want to finish putting it together I’ve taken apart and put together the same parts 12 times because the instructions are unclear or out of order some one did a few edits in this book in pen well after the book was printed the instructions dont show where to put the stop switchs or even mention them at all ive put together multiple 3d printers and similar devices and i put together aircraft for a living and im struggling to put this thing together and making things go where i think they should honestly im beyond annoyed with this device and don’t recommend it until they fix the instructions other wise your going to be doing alot of guess work maybe i’ll finish this review if i ever finish the machine .... one year has passed I'm still trying to get the drivers for windows 11 so I can try to use this machine I really want to give this negative stars but that's not an option so yeah don't waste your money

Responsiveness and customer support
Receive the product and installation directions we're fairly easy. I have a much larger CNC but needed a smaller one for circuit board and other much smaller projects. Hardware features like limit switches and upgraded spindle are important. I had some issues with the off-line controller and working with customer support they totally took care of the issue. Additionally, I was looking to enhance the CNC and LUNYEE jumped in and helped me out. Good experience with them.

Not too sure
It was simple enough to put together but I was not able to get my spindle working. The techs are very responsive though so I am hoping to have it fixed soon.

Horrible Instructions
Both the book and the video are missing many steps. The steps that are there are very vague.
