I got tired of putting all of my trash into plastic bags laying in my car. This is so tidy. The strap goes around the gear shift and doesn't affect it. The strap keeps the trash compartment from tipping. There is still plenty of room for passengers to put their feet on the floor.

Over all good quality, but lacks proper hooks to keep a garbage bag inside. Possibly might work better with paper bags or stiffer bag material?

This unit is perfect for keeping my car neat and clean, especially when my grand children are riding with me. It is sturdy and fits perfectly next to my console and I love that it has a strap to keep it in place. But what I love most of all is that it has a lid with a flexible hole on top, so I can easily reach in to put trash inside without having to open the lid. I have had it for several months, and it is still in perfect condition even I use it all the time.

It fits well to the back of the passenger seat or to the back of the centre console. It stays put and doesn't really *look* like a rubbish bin, which is nice. And the little bag clips actually work great and hold the bag in place. And if anything did spill (hasn't happened yet), the inside looks easy to clean.It doesn't seal. So I wouldn't leave perishable food bits in it, but most of my car garbage is just wrappers and papers.
