First one lasted 5 before rear lamp failed. Time for a change. Software is horrible on Mac, and proposed resolutions are to load more software which doesn't exist for current Mac OS. So aborted and tried in Windows. Failed to connect via USB. Gave up and plugged it into network, which worked. Most frustrating thing is that if you get paper jams, it aborts the scan and you have to start again. The Epson machine would allow you to continue.
